For years I tried to get a Tallahassee builder to replace my aging deck. Everyone I contacted would never call back or vanish after the first time they talked to me. One worker came out, did some sanding, and never returned to get paid for the little work that he did. Finally, I contacted my wonderful insurance agent who highly recommended Capital City Construction in Tallahassee. This company gets a lot of work from insurance companies because they do exceptional work resulting in very satisfied clients. Jonathan and his crew did exemplary work from the first estimate to the final product. He was able to fit me into his very busy schedule and did an incredible job. My original builder constructed three levels which made a large deck almost unusable. Jonathan gave me incredible ideas for materials and the design of the new deck. His crew stayed on the job for the entire project. They were prompt, reliable and thorough! You can tell what an incredible job they did from the four pictures I included of the final fabulous, extremely usable result. (I included one picture of the disaster they had to remove.)
Jonathan has been a pleasure to work with. After a tree damaged my detached garage I reached out to several contractors and roofers. Some came out, some of those provided quotes and some never even responded or ghosted me. Jonathan promptly responded to my call and was able to inspect the damage and provide me with a reasonable and timely repair quote. He went above and beyond in helping me with my insurance adjuster and was even able to provide a recommendation for a roofer. He and the roofer were able to work in tandem so that Jonathan and his team could make the structural repairs while the roofers were on site. This ensured the process went smoothly and all work was completed on time and within budget. His prompt response time, willingness to listen to the homeowner and ability to provide advice and options where needed is an invaluable asset to homeowners.
Cannot recommend Jonathan and Capital City Construction enough. We have had a bathroom remodel done and he just finished an outdoor kitchen for us. Both turned out phenomenal, and exactly how we envisioned. He was very professional throughout the entire process and offered his advice when needed. We had a pipe burst in our office and cause a lot of damage which resulted in our entire office having to be taken down to the studs. Jonathan came highly recommended to us. Jonathan walked us through the process of the rebuild and assisted us with working with the insurance company. When the project started, he continuously communicated throughout the process and made sure we were kept up to date on the process and inspections. He understood the importance of us getting back into our office since we had to temporarily relocate and worked hard to stay on schedule. Our new office is beautiful! He is professional, has excellent communication, knows the industry, has attention to detail, and is an honest person. We are completely satisfied with the rebuild and the service we received from Jonathan.
Jonathan @ Capital City Construction is fantastic , I’ve used him personally at my house , I have used his services through work and vise versa and my family has used him for projects. Best contractor I know out there for all your remodeling needs from bathrooms to kitchens and everything in between. Being in the service industry with plumbing I have dealt with a lot of contractors and Jonathan is by far the best. Would not use anyone else, very trustworthy , straight to the point doesn’t beat around the bush , knows his stuff and gives you all the options and what is going to be the best option for his customer.
