I saw Gage Construction on TV, I called to ask about my project to have him build custom outdoor shutters for my home. Same day Tommy Gage came to look, 2 days later I had an estimate, 2 weeks later his very courteous crew installed. Super solid work. It looks great. Better than I had imagined. If I could give a 10 star review I would.
Contractor pricing, DIY quality.I hired him to do a list of things found while purchasing my house. NOTHING was professional quality! Not one thing.
Thank you Gage Construction for a job well done! We had several areas of damage from the 2024 tornado to be fixed as well as a demo and full remodel of our sunroom. Every contractor was perfect from the framers to the painter, to the tile, the roofers and the electrician. We now have a beautiful space to enjoy the sunsets! We’ve posted a few before and after photos.
I was hopeful when starting out with Gage Construction. However things quickly went south while working with them. The company they subcontracted for the deck did an awful job. Lead guy broke my window throwing a temper tantrum about not having the right equipment. Everything took three times as long to get done as originally stated. Had to redo siding and patio due to things not being done correctly. Our deck is 2 different colors due to different stains/wood being used. The deck is also already falling apart and has been in place less than a year. Had to constantly message Tommy to get any updates. I will say that Tommy did come out and listen to our concerns and sort of tried to get things fixed. This was also our first house project so I was just being hopeful that things would be done professionally. Only giving 2 stars because the project was eventually finished. Overall it was a negative stressful experience and would not recommend this company.
