Hammer Construction was excellent to work with. We had a unique building inside another building that needed windows. It was a challenge, and they did a fantastic job. Great to work with. I would recommend them and will be using them again.

Used them to add-on a den, turn a dining room into a pantry, and remove a wall in the kitchen. Project lasted from July 2025-December 2025. Would recommend. Waivered between 4 and 5 stars, rounded up. Pros - quality of work largely excellent; incredibly please with finished product - just like i envisioned; liked the employees; easy to communicate with + responsive; easy to make changes as project progressed; they caught errors and fixed them before i did, or in circumstances where i may not have noticed; they generally picked up their trash and kept it contained; worked around my dogs without complaint Cons - project started more than a month late and lasted much longer than anticipated, mostly not their fault (so much rain), but sometimes delays were on them; part of what attracted me to them was the software they used for case management, there were times where that went weeks without an update; there was one small item that wasn't on the final punch list but discovered while they were finishing punch list - that took 2 months to get someone there to fix; when there was a change to the schedule and something they told me was happening didn't, id wait a few days and then ask them what happened - would've like to have them tell me when there was a change to something previously communicated

Hammerstars did a great job with my bathroom. Josh and Caswell are very knowledgeable and personable as well. They have a very detailed outline of the project with various timelines and a cost for each item that they update regularly online. My project even came in slightly below estimate. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our objective for several years has been to create a connective room between our detached garage and the main house. As a draftsman, I've had the opportunity to explore numerous design iterations for this space. What began as a somewhat aspirational concept has manifested on paper through various functional possibilities, leading us to a den. Our initial search for contractors proved challenging, encountering individuals who proposed informal "shady" agreements and demanded significant upfront payments. This experience left us uncertain about the feasibility of our project. However, our interaction with Hammer Stars was notably different. Their salesman listened attentively to our requirements and presented a quote that, while slightly higher than others, instilled confidence. We ultimately chose Hammer Stars, trusting that their transparent approach would prevent cost overruns and ensure a more predictable outcome compared to less expensive alternatives. Upon project initiation, Hammer Stars provided a comprehensive breakdown of all necessary steps, including a detailed payment schedule and a clear project timeline. We were also granted access to their project management website, which streamlined the review, modification, and approval processes. Collaborating with their architect proved highly beneficial; we were able to implement revisions that not only better suited our original vision but also resulted in cost reductions and an optimized living space. Furthermore, we proactively addressed potential challenges such as the gas line and electrical connections to the garage. Through collaborative discussion, we established realistic limitations and ultimately developed a favorable plan for constructing this addition. Inevitably, construction projects encounter unforeseen challenges. In our case, this involved navigating a complex city ordinance. Hammer Stars provided exceptional support, guiding us through the entire process, we were able to file for and receive a variance. While the ordinance did introduce a significant delay, we were still able to complete the project in a timely manner overall. While the existing French doors were not included in the scope of our contract, Hammer Stars provided us with some matching paint, enabling me to complete the painting after the project's conclusion. I am now thoroughly enjoying this new space and the ability to share it with my family. I wholeheartedly recommend Hammer Stars for their collaborative approach and their success in bringing this "pipe dream" to fruition.

I’d like to thank the Hammer Stars team for excellent service. What I had was a small project but was too big for myself to accomplish. It was small enough that a few other contractor companies wouldn’t even look at my job. Hammer Stars didn’t made me feel that way at all. I viewed their website & project pictures & liked their work. I met with the owner Josh & explained my big picture of a shed that I wanted insulated so it could essentially be a hobby room & extra expanded concrete patio work. His team helped me nail down what I really wanted & took my project from a small basic shed to an awesome space! I appreciate them taking on this small job because now I have a nicely constructed building to elevate my backyard. I will definitely call them in the future for more work.
