My wife and I recently bought a 1950s home in Vancouver and hired Vancouver General Contractors for a full home renovation, including adding a basement suite. From the start, we were impressed with how professional and organized they were. The whole process felt very transparent and well structured.Sal walked us through the process and helped us get started with the design phase. The 3D renderings were extremely helpful, and the pricing was detailed with different options so we could choose what worked best for us. They also handled all the engineering and city permits, which made things much easier.During construction we worked with Joey, our project manager, who was excellent. He was very communicative, detail-oriented, and handled the trades really well. We made several changes during the project and he took care of everything smoothly.Jessica, the interior designer, was also great and helped us choose materials and finishes that turned out even better than we expected. We especially love how the kitchen and bathrooms turned out.We’re very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend Vancouver General Contractors to anyone planning a full home renovation.
VGC has been wonderful working with from initial design to completion. I was blessed to be paired with Kia my project manager. Communication was key, he was always available via phone or text. They even did all the strata communication and approvals for me. Their online project portal was always updated with daily photos of the progress and what was done. It was nice having it all in one place. They are high quality, take pride in their work, and make sure you are satisfied. Highly recommend for a remodel!
