I am including 1 before and 3 after photos of some of the work Paul did for us recently. My husband and I met Paul when he was hired by our contractor to help with remodeling our 33 year old out-dated master bathroom, and 2 walk-in closets. Paul stood out from the beginning! He does beautiful carpentry, paint, and trim work, and can do pretty much anything in construction! He did much of the work on our remodel himself, no task was too big or too small for him to do. He brought my design ideas from Pinterest to life by framing the front of our tub, and added a much needed towel shelf to our vanity that had been wasted space before. He has a great work ethic, is something of a perfectionist (a good thing!) and is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. We will definitely call Paul for our next home remodeling project! Pam and Britt
UPDATE Feb 2025: After the successful remodel of our bathroom it was only a matter of time before we asked Paul to perform another miracle with our kitchen, and he absolutely delivered. We cannot recommend him enough, he has the highest standards and will absolutely deliver on whatever project you need. I recommend him to everyone i know for any home remodel they need, he helped us make decisions for our kitchen that we were unsure of and the finished product has me feeling like i live in a fancy new house, even though my house is a bit old and in desperate need of these upgrades. Thank you so much Paul! I wish google would allow for multiple reviews. If you are looking around for a contractor, unsure of who to trust with your project, look no further than Paul! He and his team did an amazing job transforming my old, rundown bathroom into a beautiful space I can be proud of. Paul handled everything that came with updating an old house with ease and perfectionism, not cutting any corners and making sure everything was done with the highest standards. I'm so happy that Paul was the person I trusted to take on this project, and I will definitely use his services again when it's time to update another part of my home!
I feel like we really lucked out finding Paul. This was the first major remodel we've ever done and our kitchen turned out gorgeous. Paul has really high standards for himself and his work and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. He kept me constantly updated throughout the process. Going through a big kitchen remodel is not easy or cheap but it definitely made a difference working with someone who I felt I could really trust. I certainly recommend getting multiple quotes and Paul did a very thorough job with the quote which really helped me evaluate my options. He also gave me great references for other jobs he's done and now I'm happy to be a reference for him.
If you value honesty, strong work ethic, good communication, timeliness, solid character, and attention to detail, please do more than just consider working with Paul. He will save you time, money, and many headaches. Having done a remodel with another company for our own house, we decided to use our experience and look around for other options to work on my mother-in-law's recently purchased house, before she moved to the area. I sincerely wish we had found Paul first for our own house as well. He excelled in every area our other project manger fell short. He was on the job site every single day something was being done, and he tried to make sure something productive was being accomplished every day. Since he is actually on site, he performed stringent quality control on jobs any of his subcontractors carried out. His communication was excellent, both in verbal and written form (quotes, changes, invoices, unexpected issues, etc). His standard for his and others' work is probably higher than yours and definitely higher than other contractors with whom we have worked. He showed up on time (early) as promised and was never a no-show. If you have not done a remodel before, you may not understand how rare these qualities actually are. If we ever had a project to do again in the future, there is no doubt we would call Paul first...and last. Thank you, Paul, it was a pleasure.
I waited a few months to share this because I didn't want to write it while still real annoyed with the owner. One star simply because the tile guy Anthony was a good dude. Here's some pictures and a back story of how terrible our experience was:Promised 10-15 day job in Oct of 23. Job wasn't "done" into January 24. Tile guy and helpers only showed up some weekends and from like 6-9 PM some week days because he booked a big job in China Spring that took presidence. His tile guys told me, many a time.. I had to go buy thinset and grout for his guys to do my work but he charged me as if he did it.Paul refused to come see the tile before install altho we provided multiple opportunities and then wanted to upcharge since he didn't know the floor tiles were 2x4, large tile. The granite top pieces I made them very aware of were also "a surprise" and an upcharge..but look at the cut they made. Great quality. Paul refused to come fix anything unless we paid for it and never did a final walk-through but stated that when I said it was looking good I meant it was done and that was my approval. When I called to discuss, it quickly became an argument in which Paul kept saying "Mr. Jared, don't talk over me" but then refused to listen to anything I said and continued to talk over me.Since they left we have had to pull all the tile around our tub and shower valves because they were cut so poorly and the escutcheon's didn't fit.So, in review... if you want a really bad experience with a guy who claims to be this renewed, Godly fellow who suddenly found who he is by helping others, Paul is your guy. Hell, he'll let his guys even leave work for you to fix months later!I mean my grout is already chipping up from the floor in 10+ places so I guess this was his way of job security!
