I really enjoyed working with Brad and his team! Their approach to documenting the design ensures everyone is on the same page and, best of all, ensures there are no surprises. I hope I get to work with them again someday!

Caroline Jaffee on Pace Design and Construction

Just got off the phone with Brad from Pace Design & Construction and I am so grateful for his help. I was trying to find just the right wood for a kitchen island from a photo I found online and he took the time to analyze the photo, find samples and send them to me with specific colors. He didn’t hesitate to take the time for me to explain exactly what I was hoping for and find a good solution. Much appreciated!

Brad & team performed a minor miracle: beautifully remodeled kitchen & bath with custom closet/storage instillations throughout completed BEFORE our baby’s due-date.

We loved our ~650sqft Capitol Hill row house, but with two dogs, two adults and soon to be two kids - we were desperate for storage solutions and Pace was the only firm that inspired confidence.

Brad was transparent about the challenges of working on a short timeframe with no flexibility in our due-date-driven timeline. He clearly communicated expectations; and, distilled a design vision that reflected a modern aesthetic while blending seamlessly with the rest of our home. We were never pressured to make selections and the PMs were so generous with their time and insights in identifying our needs and multiple solutions.

The construction team was very communicative with us during the construction phase and worked diligently to address and issues that cropped up.

Pace went above and beyond to identify the art of the possible - we highly recommend them and look forward to working with them on future projects.

Did a fantastic job adding a 2nd full bathroom to a classic 100-year-old rowhouse. Very easy to work with, flexible and communicated well with the inevitable unexpected findings. Finished in the time they said and very transparent about costs throughout. Have already recommended them to multiple friends!

We used PACE for a complete remodel of our 1954 Charles Goodman home in Hollin Hills, VA. Throughout the entire process they were honest, professional, responsive and clearly had our best interests at heart.

Over the course of about 4-5 months they demolished and installed new floors, moved an interior wall, demolished our kitchen, installed new electrical, recessed lights, and painted the whole house. We were also battling an odd smell (old smoker) and the appearance of some asbestos, which they tackled with gusto.

What else can I say? They did great work, were spot on the budget, and ended up finishing a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. When we do another project I would trust them do it in a second.

Note: the first pic is a before with the others showing the after.
