Working with Rachel and Drew from Our House was the best decision we made for our entire first floor renovation! My husband and I couldn't imagine working with a more creative and professional team. From our initial meeting with Rachel to design the space and select materials to the final phase, Rachel and Drew and their entire team exhibited the utmost rectitude. They handled unexpected issues with creative solutions as if they were part of the original plan and kept us informed every step of the way. Going through such a big renovation can be daunting and could require lots of patience however, we never felt stressed or disappointed working with this incredible team. The craftsmanship is truly remarkable, the crew was respectful and cleaned up the site daily. Our renovation is everything we hoped it would be and then some. Every person who walks through our doors compliment our new space. The common accolade, "It's magazine worthy". We couldn't agree more! It truly was an absolute pleasure working with Rachel and Drew. In fact, we loved them so much we're currently working with them again on our Primary Bathroom renovation. We eagerly encourage and recommend Rachel and Drew and their team. I’m honestly disappointed by this response because it dismisses a very real and unpleasant experience we had. Just because a company claims they have “no record” of communicating with us does not mean the interaction didn’t occur, or that the behavior we experienced wasn’t real.My husband spoke directly with this company, and the way he was treated was shockingly rude and unprofessional. He was spoken down to, interrupted, and met with an aggressive tone that was completely unnecessary. At no point was there an attempt to be helpful, respectful, or solution oriented. Instead, the conversation felt dismissive and hostile, which left us both uncomfortable and frustrated.If this is truly not reflective of your “business practices,” then that is even more concerning because it suggests a serious lack of internal accountability or awareness of how your staff communicates with potential customers. Professionalism isn’t just about records and policies; it’s about how people are treated in real interactions.We are not leaving this feedback lightly or without cause. We are sharing it to be honest about our experience and to warn others. A company that is quick to deny and deflect rather than acknowledge the possibility of poor behavior does not inspire confidence. Based on how my husband was spoken to, this is not a company we would ever choose to work with or recommend.
Designed kitchen and provided 3D renderings. Went back to select cabinets, hardware and counters/ backslash. They are now working up costs. Bill is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this business. Also, they have many selections for the above products.
When it comes to house renovation, you need someone you can trust. Someone with experience and who has done this many times over for the nicest of homes. Our House Design and Construction did an amazing job in our home, on schedule and within the budget established. Rachel and Drew are highly recommended professionals who will make your design dream come true. 5 stars!
Rachel and Drew are awesome! Our House is a local design and installation company who have been in town for a long time and have a Great reputation.Rachel is a fab designer and nobody else can design a kitchen better then her! Drew is a skilled carpenter and easily installs everything. The trick to all of this is knowing the details and how to accentuate them so everything looks fresh and special. I am a builder and have used our house for my kitchen and was very satisfied. Many others can promise the same but Rachel and Drew get it done quickly and on time and on budget, that is such a pleasure rather then have your home disturbed and delayed like so many others do! I would recommend our house to anybody looking to do anything from a new kitchen or bath to a whole renovation as you are in good hands!
