I am very pleased to highly recommend Van Schaik Construction. I had water damage in my house in St. Pete from the hurricane and was getting nowhere with several other firms. They gave me wrong or misleading information on permitting, kept delaying the scheduled work, didn't respond and the cost kept changing. When Van Schaik took over, they knew what to do, how to do it, how to get it permitted. Their price was fair and they broke it down clearly for me. I needed insulation, drywall, painting, doors/trims, flooring, plumbing, tile work, cabinets. They took over for another subcontractor and did better work for less money. For me, importantly, they were highly responsive keeping me informed of what was happening on a regular basis. I have some other construction work I need done and I see no reason to go anywhere else.
