We recently had Mountain Man Construction build a new carport to replace one demolished by a large fallen tree. We could not be happier with the result. We found their workmanship, attention to detail and flexibility to be excellent. They were also reasonably priced. I highly recommend them and plan on using them again for future projects. I especially want to commend James Wroten for his excellent project management.

He was an intermediary for us when we had questions about stone installation. He listens and makes adjustments as needed. His experience, commitment and personality are appreciated! I couldn't have been happier with James and the Mountain Man Construction team. We have a large 30-year-old wood-decked bridge as part of our driveway in need of replacement due to decay. Suffice to say we were having difficulty finding a GC we trusted to take on the job, which didn't fit nicely into any one project category. Not only did James agree to take on the project, he communicated clearly from the outset, established a timeline, and stuck to it. The project involved working with 2 sets of homeowner families to coordinate ingress and egress around times the bridge would be inaccessible. Without fail, James and his team were transparent, efficient, and courteous. Before and after pics are attached, with the after pic pending staining. Several utiilities run under the bridge and the guys had no issues. We are very pleased with the quality, timeline, and cost. I can't recommend Mountain Man Construction enough!

After researching prefabricated pergolas and realizing getting the size and style we wanted was not coming in a package we decided to have one custom made to our specs. Hiring Mountain Man Construction was the smartest move we made. Working with James to get the simple design and perfect size we were looking for was quick and easy. The crew showed up when they said they would and worked together as a team with everyone knowing their role and getting on with it. We made a couple of small adjustments to the design along the way and James and his team took it in stride and after just 3 1/2 days we had the result we were hoping for. Paint will come in a few weeks when the wood has had time to weather, will update with finished photos at that time. We would highly recommend Mountain Man Construction and we will be working with the on a couple more projects at our home in the very near future.
