The inspector was quick to respond and was great. He's the only reason this isn't a 1 star. I had to call every single day to get any updates, a few times they actually had questions. Each time I was told we were waiting on an estimate. A week and a half and the estimator calls me with questions so they can work on the estimate. I had already hired another company and they were doing the work when I got the call.
In Sept 2025 we came home from an overnight trip and found two inches of water in our master bedroom and walk-in closet. The culprit? A rusted out water heater located in a cabinet in the walk-on closet. Mint Restoration was immediately responsive. They removed the water and set up heat and ventilation systems to remove moisture from soaked flooring, carpet and sheetrock to minimize damage and prevent mold. Once insurance approved Mint’s estimate for repairs, they brought in a crew, and within six days they had replaced the subflooring, insulation, Sheetrock and more. They went beyond the call of duty when we decided to move the water heater outside and replumb the entire house with a different supplier, but did the modifications necessitated by the changes. Our home is beautiful again. They finished the job today, hauled all the trash away and even brought in a cleaning woman to spiff the place up. They finished ahead of schedule to boot. We couldn’t be happier with Mint restoration and would recommend them to anyone, anytime, any place.
Mint Restoration came highly recommended to me and they didn’t disappoint. From the discovery of the water damage, mitigation, and repairs they were very professional and courteous. The quality of work was superior and done in a timely manner. My repair team members were always on time and left the job site clean. This was my first experience with water damage and they walked me through the process addressing all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend them for your restoration needs.
I had a water heater fail. While was away tending to my wife. I selected Mint Restoration to mitigate the mold issue and to restore my home back to usable condition. They did an excellent job. I was called away due to my wife’s health issue but they continued to work and coordinated with my realtor.I had a second leak under the house, they checked it, my agent coordinated with a plumber and Mint Restoration dried the place out in a timely fashion.
I recently called Mint Restoration (Yuma) on advice from an insurance adjuster. My father’s mobile home had a small flood in the kitchen. The floor began to buckle, so we suspected there was more damage in the subfloor. In order to prevent mold from growing, I called Mint. Within a couple of hours, they came to my father’s mobile home and proceeded to rip up the flooring and remove the lower cabinets. Adriana and two experienced men thoroughly assessed the damage and had a moisture gage which they used. I was very impressed with their promptness and expertise.Putting things back in working order was a different story. This is where my frustration began…After our subfloor had dried, Mint assured us they would assemble a working kitchen. Two days before Thanksgiving, someone from the team came with a brand-new laundry sink and a small board to put the sink on. After he looked at the pipes, he said he wasn’t able to do anything since the hot water pipe wasn’t capped. Obviously, he wasn’t a plumber. He didn’t know how to proceed, and since this was 2 days before Thanksgiving, I was not in the mood to continue to wash dishes in the bathroom! I told him that I’d call a plumber and also notified the company of this decision. So the same guy came back the following day, and he couldn’t install the sink since the P-trap wasn’t long enough. OK….the day before Thanksgiving. This worker wasn’t even planning on covering the large whole in our kitchen since he didn’t come back with a larger board. I was shocked, and for the second time, decided to call the plumber and ask him to bring a large board to cover the hole and install the sink.My main complaint is that since this situation, MINT has sent me the bill for the total of the clean-up phase. They haven’t responded to my emails about my out-of-pocket expense for the plumber. Also, the board covering my floor still has some cracks which insects could crawl through. I would think a restoration company would help properly seal the floor until the floor is fixed properly. I feel duped!
