Durham Region Roofing

You can't put a price on peace of mind. We had Mike and his crew out in autumn 2024 to replace the roof we had installed by another company in 2023. In stark contrast to Alpha Roofing, Mike and his crew actually took care of our largest investment, and took pride in their work. If we could do it over again, I wouldn't even bother getting quotes from another company, I would just go straight to Mike. Mike and his team took their time and did the job right. He kept us informed of his progress all the way through, but more importantly, they were transparent about process, the issues they uncovered along the way and how they were fixing/addressing them. As I mentioned, the previous company we hired (Alpha Roofing) compromised the integrity of our home. We had 20+ exposed nails, no starter shingles, no snow/ice membrane and improperly installed shingles (all of which void the shingle warranty and would nullify any insurance claims related to roof, like water damage). Mike took photos of everything for us–all the shortcuts, problems and areas of concern. He walked us through it all and explained how to do it properly. He fixed our roof and helped us with our claim. A real class act. I can confidently say that Mike might be the best money you can spend on your home, because I know what it looks like to pay the wrong people. It's hard to articulate the peace of mind we've enjoyed since Durham Roofing helped us out. And, as a real testament to their quality of their work, we live right on the lake, we get high winds and tons of exposure to the elements–unbelievable snow and rain storms–and their roof has stood up to it all. It's a masterclass in roofing, and I'm glad we Durham Roofing around to helps us. Mike is your guy. Spend the money and sleep well. (I'll try and pop back and add photos to this review in the spring, when all the snow has melted.)

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Durham Region Roofing. Mike saved me from being scammed by another company, going way ABOVE AND BEYOND, before I had even contracted with him. He is a person with a strong moral code to do the right thing, regardless of whether he benefits or not. After helping me out of the mess I landed myself in, his crew came in and finished the job. Their work was excellent, they were efficient and they did an excellent clean up job. He used quality materials and provided an excellent warranty on the shingles and workmanship. If you are looking for a company you can TRUST, is FAIR IN PRICING, and DEPENDABLE, I recommend Durham Region Roofing.
