My roof was damaged from the December 2025 windstorm in Montana. I notified my insurance company immediately and they gave me names of roofers to try to contact. Dustin Swaggerty of Swagg construction was the first to get back to me. They arrived within a couple days to at least get the damaged area protected. Dustin relieved some of my stress with assured me that they would make sure the process went well for me. Of course I had to wait for adjusters to get the insurance claim approved but once that was done Swagg roofing acted promptly to start the roofing project. I was lucky that Montana had a mild February and that Swagg roofing had the project completed in a few days. Much appreciation to the hard working roofers who did a great job! Thanks to Dustin and Tyler who continued to reassure me that the claim would cover most costs as I waited for the final outcome. I would recommend Swagg Construction and Roofing to anyone needing a new roof or repairs.
Swagg was very professional and easy to work with. They found the perfect shingles, addressed all the problem areas, and worked their butts off to get our roof done before the snow came. These guys are awesome. They will be my first choice for any future projects that could come our way.
The work itself is great and have no complaints about the actual work itself. The handling of the invoices is another matter entirely. The first payment was handled by the field representative. The second payment we waited for another invoice as the insurance company requires a bill to cut the remaining check. The work was done in 2022. Until November 3, 2025 we had not heard a word from them. The company advised that they had sent an email in December 2022. I asked for proof of that as neither of us received an email. Their "proof" is a screen shot with a date and an attachment but no proof showing where the email was sent to. There's no email address listed showing who the email was sent to. Rather than reach out to us or reach out to the insurance company (the insurance company advised they have yet to hear from the company regarding final payment) they escalated the matter to a debt collector whom demanded payment or else he'd file legal charges by 3 PM. Mind you, we never have heard a word from Swagg until I had to call them and ask what was going on. Attached is the "proof" screen shot they sent. Had they reached out to us with a bill, the bill would have been paid. I will never use this company for anything ever again. This could and should have been handled much better then it was.
We hired Swagg Roofing to replace our roof, rain gutters & downspouts. We were very happy with their services from the beginning of the whole process to the end. The team at Swagg made the procedure very easy for us to get it all done w/ our busy schedules! Thanks especially to Daniel for all the extra time and help - he was awesome!!
Needed a gutter for a large covered deck. One call to Dustin and got exactly what I needed and installed quickly. Great to work with. Will definitely call for any future projects.
