Got my contract with 5 star roofing to redo my roof on June 10, 2025. Then they did not come complete the work until August 22, 2025. And that was after multiple failed attempts of them telling me they were coming on a day and never showing up, I had to call and ask why there was no communication, only answer I got was that they got stuck at another job. But why did I have to call to get that communication? Then after the work was done I came home from a work trip to hundreds and hundreds of nails coming through my ceiling, after the project manager was told at least 3 different times from myself and at least 3 different times from my wife that we don not have an attic. So it was then agreed that 5 star roofing would fix my ceiling for no charge and then I would pay them after that was done. Well....here we are December 2, 2025 and I still have all those nails coming through my ceiling with no communication on when they are coming to fix it. They were supposed to come today, but it is 12:05pm on December 2, 2025 and there is no one in my house fixing a ceiling. I do not want to deal with them anymore, I wish there was a 0 star option and we will be reporting them to the better business bureau. For your sanity do not ever use this company.Here is an update to the previous review:The nails that were coming through our ceiling previously have been fixed as of December 19th 2025. The plan that was made to fix the ceiling was great, however it was not executed to the best of their ability. At a glance it looks great, but when you really examine it you begin to notice flaws. For example: the seams between some of the boards are very wide and noticeable, some have been filled with a bad caulking job, and others are just not filled. Then for some reason they decided to use two different colored trims right next to each other, one is grey and the other is white. Another flaw that we have noticed is in our bathroom it looks like they tried to use large nails to hold up some of the shiplap, then they tried to cover that up with another bad caulk job. The seams between each piece of trim are very noticeable.After that was all done my wife had a call with the owner where she specified all the flaws that we found. Then the owner asked if there was anything else besides those flaws to which she answered "no". At which point the owner said "ok cool." During the call she did not ask the company to fix their flaws just pointed out it would show the integrity of their company based on what they chose to do next. Since then they have asked for photos of the flaws which have been delivered with no reply from the owner.One positive that we do have is that the are waiving the interest for our bill.We have been asked to edit this review by the owner several times. This is not supposed to be malicious, it is just a factual telling of what our experience has been with this company.TLDR: Nice people who struggle with professionalism and work quality.So again I have to come on here and edit a review because now the owner of the company is calling me and my wife liars. We have nothing to gain from lying in a review on Google. Everything stated above is truth.
5 Star Roofing was great to work with. Communication was solid from start to finish, the crew showed up when they said they would, and the quality of work was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.
We had a roof turbine come off during a recent blizzard. Dustin responded within an hour and was on-site the very next day to replace it. He was extremely responsive, professional, and communicative throughout the process. Great service, especially under tough weather conditions
Brady was absolutely wonderful to work with. Great communication, he knew what he was talking about and he always answered my calls! The crew that came out to do our roof were some of the most hard working guys I’ve seen in a long time. They tore off and re-roofed our whole house in one day! Again I can’t say enough about how good Brady was to work with! Also, five star came in with a bid 5k cheaper than the two previous bids. Edit: they were supposed to replace a couple rotten pieces of sheeting on the soffits. I’ve called multiple time and either got blown off or no answer. It’s been four months and they’ve been paid in full. It’s now December and they still havnt came out to finish it
I had my asphalt shingles replaced by five star roofing. From the bid process through the completion of the work, five star was very professional. I give them the highest rating. The crew arrived early in the day and had completed the job by mid-afternoon. I’ve done shingling on numerous homes, including my own so I know what good shingling looks like and these men were top notch right through the cleanup process. I had seen 5 star’s work in my neighborhood and I’m glad that I took that homeowner’s advice in hiring 5 star.
