We highly recommend Central Roofing! This is a company that truly cares about customer service. Our project manager, Jaren Craig, was extremely knowledgeable and communicative. He helped us with every step of the process, ensuring we chose the right materials for our 1914 historic home in Bloomington’s Founders Grove neighborhood. We have owned our home for over a decade and dreaded the day we’d need a roof replacement - when we patched leaky spots we realized there were 3 layers of crumbling old shingles. Turns out, a full roof replacement was easy with Central! Jeran understood historic construction methods and knew how to check for asbestos, which thankfully was not present. We had the 3 layers of old shingles stripped, new decking installed (the house had historic skip decking), better ventilation added, and new Class 4 shingles installed. We opted to spend $2k more on the best grade of shingles, thanks to Jeran letting us know we could save $400/year on our home insurance premium. This means the upgrade will pay for itself in five years, as well as giving us a higher quality roof. (Another company quoted us $28k for the same work, using cheaper shingles that *wouldn’t* qualify for a home insurance premium reduction.) We are so pleased with the results Jeran’s crew delivered!
