We had a great experience with The Roofing Company, and Shane in particular was fantastic! During a very rainy weekend when we discovered a leak in our roof, Shane took time out of his day to come out and assess the situation for us. Even with the weather, he was able to track down where the leak was coming from, which was a huge relief.We were really impressed with his professionalism and the level of service he provided. It was clear he genuinely wanted to help our family during a stressful situation rather than just treat it like another call.What also stood out to us was his kindness and integrity. He generously gave his time to help us when we needed it, which we truly appreciated. That kind of service and character goes a long way. Very competitive prices and a polite crew, but some of the complaints are warranted - communication being a big one.I would recommend these guys if you're on a budget and easy going.Shane does have a lot going on personally (he was in the paper for being one of Brantford's first serious COVID cases and was hit pretty hard by that; you can imagine the lingering complications) but he does put in a lot of effort trying to do what he can. I got the sense though that he spreads himself too thin trying to please everybody. They would certainly benefit from a dedicated receptionist.When they did my roof in 2020, before he got sick, the process was pretty efficient. The price was great and they did a lot of work really fast (including removing a crumbling brick chimney and filling the hole, and fixing a lot of big holes in the roof), but the process was quick and dirty and some of the finer details were rushed, though overall things looked good.Five years later I had some problems and Shane did what was needed to fix things up at no extra charge, and his guys cleaned out my downspouts.They also do a lot of charity work, which is commendable.
I would definitely recommend The Roofing Company Brantford based on my recent experience with them. I had a leak in my roof which led to water coming into my living room.Shane was quick to respond to my request for a quote and came to my house the following day. He provided an honest assessment of the repairs required and completed the work immediately. Will definitely reach out to Shane again if/when I have roof problems.
We had Shane and his crew do our soffit/fascia and eavestroughs this week and are super happy with the results. It looks absolutely amazing. His guys were great, friendly, hardworking and fast!! I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. Thank you SOOO much. The difference it has made with the look of our house is beautiful and we love it.
Pros: Great price! Color is exactly what I imagined (black), really great job capping old windows and making them look good again.Cons: poor/no communication at times, downspouts not sufficient, took months to get the job done, aluminum clippings, nails and screws left all over the property, did not follow requests from owner, slope of trough not correct, VERY poor workmanship and finish result, offered me $50 to remove my bad review.Before having the work done my trough leaked, after having job done, it leaked.
