Cannot Recommend DSS more highly!!!Khalid and his team were one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had. Responded immediately to my quote request and received the quote right away. He is very knowledgeable and offered many great suggestions that I didn't think of myself. The quote itself outlined the expected work, and also costs that may arise due to unexpected findings(which always occur). He was very accommodating around my schedule, and completed the entire job in less than 3 days. Complete tear-off of 3 layers, replaced lots of rotted wood, removed and replaced placed all fascia and gutters, and sided and trimmed two dormers. The crew themselves were unbelievable as well. Alex and his team showed up ready to go by 8am both days, and worked until last light(not sure if they even took a break). They thoroughly cleaned the property at end of shift, and even had pictures of the placement of all of the various planters, furniture and gazebos to ensure they put everything back in the right spots!!
They did an excellent job with the roof! Completed in under two days and the quality of the work was excellent. Good communication the whole time and reasonable pricing as well. Team made me feel very confident in their knowledge and answered any and all questions I had!
In '86 my dad hired a roofer who did a terrible job ran off with the cash. He vowed to never hire another contractor and made my siblings and I learn how to do everything, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. I've done all my own work to this day, but when it came time to do the roof there was no way I could do it myself. I agonized for several years over who to hire, and got many estimates. Not only was DSS the most reasonable, Khalid's professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness sold me. He even took me to see a roof they were working on and I could see the care they put into it. He and I could chat about how he was doing things, and I knew he knew his stuff. He and his crew did an excellent job on a very messy 3-shingle layer tear-off and new shingle roof that took several days. They were timely, friendly, and cleaned up every day. They took care to protect my house and the neighbor's houses. Khalid never tried to weasel in additional costs or upsell me, and explained in detail any time something came up. As someone who never hires contractors I couldn't recommend them more.
We just had our roof done by DSS. Khalid the owner was very professional right from the start. He was very timely and polite with his correspondence prior to the job starting. Once they started, their site supervisor Justin was on site full time and was also very professional. The team worked hard and the job was completed on schedule. Overall was very happy with the final roof. Definitely recommend!! Thank you Khalid and Justin!!
Khalid and his team did a great job! We couldn't be more pleased. They were able to accommodate our schedule and then promptly came when they said they could. Even though we had a more involved job since we had the original cedar shakes, they were still able to get the work done quickly. On top of it all they then did a great job cleaning up, were super friendly, and responded quickly to answer all our questions. Overall, the roof looks great, we're really happy with DSS and the quality they bring!
