On behalf of my elderly mother, the lack of professional and decorum by Mr Tatum was upsetting to hear during my mothers encounter with him yesterday 2/27/25

For those interested in simple repairs, be aware: My mother had agreed to a job and informed him 1-2 weeks prior to the job to notify her the day before so his payment could be ready upon completion, as her preferred method is cashier check or cash. Mr Tatum not only failed to notify my mother of this, but upon my mother informing him that she would have to mail him the payment (as he showed up unannounced the morning off, outside of the customary call on his way), Mr Tatum essentially packed up his equipment and left in a haste without notifying my mother in person. The utter lack of respect and professionalism is stunning from a business owner. Sending a text later is so shallow I would expect better from someone is his position. Clearly, a better way of remembering details of a job would go a long way in avoiding these types of encounters. Be better Mr Tatum.

Joe and his crew were wonderful. They completely stripped my old double roof and installed new along with needed facia that had water damage. Along with that, Darby Completely installed new rain, gutters and downspouts. This entire job was done in three days and it looks beautiful. Everything was cleaned up when they were finished. I have absolutely no complaints only praises for Preferred Roofing and Preferred Gutters.

I used Preferred Roofing for a new roof at my home in Fresno in February 2024. They showed up and did a good job (although I found a lot of debris in my attic after the fact which should have been cleaned up). The reason that they don't get a better review - the owner promised me a 50 year warranty. I have requested that documentation and after his initial statement that he would follow up he has now "gone dark". I would say if you are counting on anything other than roof work beware.

If you want quality service with a professional contactor then Preferred Roofing is the company to go with. I had a very small job due to some loose tiles on my roof overhang on the front of my home. Not only did they do the repair but they took the time to check the whole roof. I will continue to use them should the need arise. Very punctual, courteous and professional. Thank you!

This company's workmanship and professionalism are the reasons why I would strongly recommend to others who may need a roof repair or reroof. I just got my overdue wood shake replaced with composite roof. From the estimate process to the project completion, all work are done professionally and efficiently as the owner promised. The estimate is very reasonable. Mr. Tatum, the owner, would come to the site to ensure the work is done properly (I saw him went up to my roof to check on the work progress during the construction period). Their exemplary service is mostly impressive. I've already recommended some of my friends to try their services. I'm glad I selected them to replace my roof.
