We were referred to Texas State Roofing from family and were so happy with our decision to work with them after all this hail damage in Portland, TX. Our appointment was made and Greg came out on time and walked us through the whole process. Having never re-roofed my home before (especially one on the coast), he made the process seamless. Everybody on their team working on our home was polite and they were supper efficient. As a mom with a young son and dogs, I also appreciated their efforts in collecting all the stray nails! They were always on time, very communicative throughout the entire process and we never had to worry about anything. I would highly recommend Texas State Roofing.
Texas Roofing Company provided excellent customer service. Trae was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the different options available for our home roof replacement project. The crew that performed the work were all hard working and professional. They removed the roof, installed the new roof and cleaned the yard and surrounding areas. The gutter installer was great as well. I highly recommend Texas State Roofing Company. My realtor recommended I get a cheaper roof through someone else, but the “License” numbers on that business man’s truck actually turned out to be city permit numbers. I was impressed that TX State Roofing Company, however, is one of only a tiny number of companies I found in Corpus Christi (through the RCAT website,) who serve residential customers & voluntarily maintain a license to install roofs through RCAT. Unfortunately, Texas does not require Roofing contractors to have a license. … This company has excellent references & has been in business long enough that I’m not worried about them closing up shop & not being around, if my home sustains roof damage & I need to call them regarding my roof warranty’s coverage. … The 1st thing I noted about this company is their outstanding customer service. The lady I spoke with1st when I called about my leaking roof & need for temporary sealants, immediately relayed my need to a project manager who was in the office - Ruben. He, unlike people at other companies, was willing to come out as soon as he had time to do so that day. He reviewed all options available for an asphalt shingle roof at my request, answered all of my questions, & offered me quotes on different options so I could choose the best options for my family. He not only has excellent customer service skills, but I could tell he & his managers (Jac & David - who I met later,) want to do right by their customers. Ruben was not a pushy salesman. Unlike another company I called, he did not refuse to come out the same day or refuse to have seals put on my roof unless I signed a contract for a new roof. He had seals put over the holes in my roof the same day I called. He said I would receive a credit equal to the fee for the temporary seals if I did decide to buy a new roof from his company. Price wise, TX State Roofing offered the least expensive roof out of the 3 RCAT licensed companies I called for new roof estimates, but not by much. Cheaper is not always better, and I carefully vetted the 3 companies. TX State Roofing stood out for customer service, their hand nailing of shingles to prevent over penetration by, or displacement of, nails. They also have many great references. I ended up not only having them install a new roof, but they removed, replaced and painted Sheetrock to repair water damages to my home & installed a new exhaust fan to our master bathroom. I highly recommend TX State Roofing for their excellent customer service and workmanship, and their use of quality products.
