They are a fishy company, overpriced high pressured, offering 1 time deals (red flags), they dont go over the internet rates 10% over 20 years They never gave a license number either . My parents house is about 18 sq the roof they estimated 61k for metal and a one time deal of 53k. My parents also put down 7k as well (since they had an other customer close by as they stated ) b.sat 545 a month 10% interest , ull be paying almost 100k after the 20 years(if u dont put more to it). You have 3 days to cancel it, they never go over that. Also to my parents have been still waiting for there deposit back been waiting almost 7 days...They have changed the company name 3 or 4 times or so since 2021 It was family owned until a corporation to over "Gridiron Capital" /"Leaf homes". There already been 4 class lawsuits against erie homes , all there BBB comments and reviews are mostly fake and a.i responses to the customernot bashing the company they have good products, thats it. they are con artists, my personal experience with them, they are 2-3x over priced, they say they give the work to" local contractors"Personal opinion, so cut out the middle man (erie homes). Get estimates from a local roofing companies and get 3 or 4 estimates, erie homes they take advantage of uneducated people about roofing costThe picture they take for the "free inspection" They use that against the customer. So if there are leaks after installing... it "was preexisting" not erie company problem then it gets puts back on the customer. To fix it so now they have spend more money out of pocket, or take out a second mortgage (depending situation for everyone). So now the customer has to pay all ofI believe the company, makes the customer forclose the house, then they buy house then flip since you still have contract with them with the leaky roof lolLeaf homes- over $1.4 billion revenue incomeErie homes- over $609 million revenue incomeMy question to everyone how does just a roofing company/ home improvement, make that much money, because everyone would be doing it...give your money and work to a local honest companies instead of a fishy joint corporations.( 3-4 hands dipping into one project who takes responsibility?)My personal opinion and experience with erie homes. Not bashing them or trying to put a bad name on them, but speak the truth. My parents are still waiting for there deposit back and its almost been 7 days and they canceled with in 24 hours amd with in the 3 day period they show on the contractor in tiny pdf txts... no work or materials showed up either. The Attorney General will be contacted if it passes the 7 days without reimbursement
They came when they said they would. they did the work. In a timely manner In completed the work on day one. The roof looks good. The installers were quiet as best as they could cleaned up their yard, except for a few little nails I found, but for the most part cleaned up and put things back where it was supposed to be for the most part And I would recommend them
We love our new roof! The installers worked on one of the hottest days this summer. Great crew and nicely picked up after.
I had Erie Home replace my roof with Architectural Fiberglass shingles since my roof with standard shingles was 20 yrs old. They did an excellent professional job and the roof looks beautiful and will last 30 yrs.The crew was excellent! They arrived at 7:00 AM and completed the job on a 2600 sq ft home by 4:30 PM. They did an excellent clean up after.I am very satisfied with the job performed and recommend Erie Homes for your job.
From first intro to installation it was 10 days. Installers were respectful, there was a language barrier but we worked it out. Clean up was well done, dumpster was removed within the day. They made the entire process easy!!!!
