Replaced our roof along with 4 skylights, summer 2025. I had six companies come to give estimates and only one of those estimators actually came inside and measured each skylight. Guess which one. Not only was the cost of work very reasonable, I could just tell Chris was an honest man. My father was a builder so I knew many of the things Chris was explaining as we walked around. He was never condescending when I asked dumb questions and always presented several options when something came up.

The work was completed very carefully and timely by the crew. The estimated length of work was accurate. Chris was always available and approachable throughout the project. He’s built up quite a reputation in our neighborhood and has put new roofs on several homes on my street just from word of mouth. Able Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. I had lost a significant number of shingles in a recent windstorm and Chris was able to do the new roof as soon as the weather permitted. Chris and his crew came when he said they would, did a great job of protecting the house from falling debris and impeccably cleaned up. I’d also like to add that Chris replaced some loose shingles in the past but never pressured me to do a replacement. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Chris in the future and strongly recommend him to anyone needing roof work.

Able Roofing did a great job on our asphalt shingle roof and associated repairs. This was a full roof replacement, and the work also included replacing two skylights, new flashing on the chimney, replacing a lot of plywood sheets, replacing facia board, sistering some cracked rafters in the attic, and installing a new front gutter. Before we contracted Able Roofing, we obtained estimates from 5 companies, all highly rated on online reviews and recommended by one or more members of the community. Chris of Able Roofing was the last person we interviewed for the job, and he immediately impressed us with his expertise and straightforward, forthright manner. We had asked each company about adding overhangs at the sides of the house, and Chris was the only one who noticed that given where the electrical line came into the house, this would require major electrical work as well (a statement that was immediately confirmed by an electrician who happened to be working at our house that day). He also clearly explained the pros and cons of various options we were considering. By the end of the initial meeting, I already was sure that I’d prefer his company over the others if price weren’t an issue. To my surprise, his bid was the second-lowest of the five (and the one lower bid was from a company we’d already ruled out for other reasons). Thus, we opted to work with Able Roofing and we were not disappointed. Chris personally supervised the bulk of the work on the first day, which is when the roof was replaced, and checked on work several other times. His team were real professionals and did a great job. We highly recommend them.
