About a year ago, a friend recommended a roofer to me when I needed a new slate roof for my large Victorian home in Elizabeth. i originally hired a different roofing company to handle the slate roof installation, put in new copper gutters, and re-shingle three dormers with red cedar shingles. They also needed to repoint three chimneys and some of the brick foundation. unfortunately, the original contractor did not do good work and was not honest. that's when i brought in robert to inspect everything during the job. robert really knows his stuff when it comes to roofing, carpentry, and masonry. he gave me very detailed reports pointing out where the other contractor cut corners, used poor materials, and didn't follow the contract. robert made sure things were done right and helped keep the project on track. i honestly wish i had hired robert's team for the whole job from the start, it would have saved me a lot of trouble. since then, i have called on this roofing crew to handle repairs to my slate roof and to install two rubber roofs on other houses i own here in elizabeth. i highly recommend them for any roofing, gutter, siding, or masonry work. you'll get top quality, great customer service, and fair prices.

Cabrera & Sons Roofing replaced my old roof, which had some storm damage, and did a fantastic job. they used great quality shingles and even offered extra inspection services, checking both inside the house and up in the attic, all at no extra cost. jaime took care of all the paperwork and explained everything in a way that made the process easy, including working with my insurance. the roof warranty they offer is one of the best i’ve seen, and jaime made sure i understood all the details. he was very professional and always got back to me quickly, meeting in person when needed. after such a positive experience, i’ve already asked about more work like window repairs and some outside updates. highly recommend for anyone in elizabeth looking for a reliable roofer.

After a strong storm, a heavy tree branch fell on our house, causing damage to our roof, chimney, and siding. We reached out to a roofing company and were connected with Duane, who worked around our schedule to assess the damage. Duane also helped us communicate with our insurance company and provided clear quotes for the repairs. Once we agreed to move forward, Marc took over as the project manager. Marc was excellent at keeping us updated and scheduling the work, even when the weather slowed things down. Like any big roofing job, we had a few small issues along the way, but Marc always made sure they were taken care of quickly. For example, when some nails accidentally damaged our medicine cabinets during the siding installation, Marc brought Robert to help fix it. Even though they weren’t required to repair it, they came up with a solution and restored everything perfectly. We are extremely happy with the end result—our roof and home look great, and the repairs are flawless. Everyone on the team was friendly and professional throughout the whole process. We definitely plan to call them again for any future roofing or home improvement needs.

We decided to call Cabrera & Sons Roofing for a full replacement of our roof, gutters, and downspouts. From the start, Robert was prompt, friendly, and explained everything clearly. The crew showed up right on time and worked efficiently, making sure to protect our landscaping and clean up thoroughly afterward.
