Gruwell just finished our roof and we are extremely satisfied. They went above and beyond by replacing poorly installed plywood, repairing damaged chimney flashing, and repairing a broken rafter in our attic. The lead roofer texted me progress pictures throughout the project so that i knew exactly what repairs they made.We got quotes from 4 roofing companies and these guys were not the lowest, but the best value because they use better materials (malarkey shingle - made in Oregon) and install a ridge vent.They are a smaller operation so I had confidence my roof was going to be installed by the Gruwell themselves, and not get sub-contracted out.
I cannot recommend Gruwell Roofing enough if you want to have skylights installed in your house. Matt, the owner, is an amazingly thorough and skilled professional. His services are in high demand so you might have to wait a bit. But the wait is so worthwhile. Also, if you had to redo or repair your roof there’s only one person I would trust and that is Matt!. I have never encountered anyone so concern with his client’s needs and wants. He did not want any deposit and only wanted to get paid AFTER the work was completed and that I was fully happy with it! His workmanship is unbelievable. Pictures are worth a thousand words.
I wanted to thank Erin and his crew at Gruwell Roofing for their excellent work they did re-roofing our home. He is very knowledgeable about products and what would work best for certain applications he and his crew are also professional and courteous. Our low-pitched roof presented a challenge we were planning to go with a specially-designed shingle for a low pitch roof but upon removing the old roofing we realized we had wide spaced tongue and groove sub roof. Erin was knowledgeable and helped us to decide on a proper solution using ice and water shield and were able to upgrade to Malarkey Vista polymer modified architectural shingle which was a far superior product to the original selected shingle option and choice. I am pleased with the safety precautions and work including the clean up that they did to install our new roof. Our home now looks fantastic and I would highly recommend Gruwell Roofing and their expert workmanship to friends or anyone looking for a well professionally installed Roofing System.
