We got quotes from four or five different roofing companies, and Solsken Roofing had the best price by far. Johnathan Gaudette was super friendly, honest, and down-to-earth. He came out personally, talked with us at length about our situation, and found a unique solution for our roof when we only needed one more layer of shingles. You can tell he actually cares about helping people, not just making a sale. His team came out and were very friendly and professional, cleaning out our gutters and combing the perimeter for metal from the job. Great, efficient crew and five stars allAround. I’m so happy with the job Solsken Roofing did on my roof. Not only did they upgrade my shingles, but I was shocked when John sent me photos that the previous roofers had not properly installed the vents on my roof! In fact they didn’t install them at all, they cut corners by just putting the vent covers in the appropriate places so the installation *appeared* correct. I have always had trouble regulating the temperature upstairs in my house, but John’s team reinstalled the vents correctly (and he didn’t even charge me extra) and now my upstairs is noticeably cooler. That level of integrity means a lot to me. I might never have known it was incorrectly installed if he hadn’t shown me and fixed it. It’s nice to know there are still craftsmen out there who care about doing the job right! Couldn’t be happier with the finished product and I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs an honest, reliable contractor.
