My neighbor recommended True Shield Roofing and I am so glad I hired them! They replaced the entire roof on my 100+ year old home (insulation, sheathing, shingles), installed ventilation, and replaced the gutters. The experience was terrific from start to finish. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they conducted themselves with professionalism throughout the entire process.

Out of multiple companies I requested quotes from, Ildefonso and his TrueShield team was the best value and the most transparent. Quotes I got from other companies buried additional fees in contract terms that made them seem less expensive at first glance, but after reading the fine print they would have been at least +20% more.

TrueShield also stood out for their trustworthiness and exceptional communication. As this was my first time replacing a roof, I appreciated how clearly and patiently Ildefonso explained my options and provided guidance when I had questions. He was consistently respectful and made the process feel approachable and straightforward. I was even out of town for a portion of the job and trusted Ildefonso to everything on track and well managed, which he did. After the job was finished, TrueShield thoroughly cleaned my entire property as good as new (probably better) - not a single stray nail left behind. Recently reached back out to true shield roofing due to leaking from the rainstorm we had recently. I had previously had work done by them 2 years ago for something similar. They helped replaced a few of our flapper vents on the roof and they did a great job. This time around they diagnosed the issue and did the replacement free of charge due to the issue being something similar to the last time they were out even though it wasn’t necessary for them to do it for free. I was willing to pay but they thanked me for being a loyal customer and it being a simple fix they didn’t bother charging me this time around. I appreciate it especially as we are budgeting for the holidays. Thank you!

I recently had Ildefonso and his True Shield Roofing team replace my roof, damaged plywood around the edges of the roof, a leaking vent roof, and bring it up to date with the current building codes. I've been very pleased with the entire experience from start to finish.

I had interviewed 7 different roofing contractors and I chose True Shield because Ildefonso was professional, communicative, and answered all of my questions without hesitation or making me feel like I was dumb for asking all my questions. When we asked for his honest opinion about which product he would choose, he didn't hesitate with his answer at all and explained why that was his choice.

I was impressed with how quickly they were able to complete the work once they got started....I was expecting it to take an entire week and it was less than 3 days. The crew thoroughly cleaned up their work area and were respectful of our home and my new roof looks AMAZING! :)

I've never had a roof replaced before and I couldn't be happier with this experience for a first time and I can say that I'm ready for the rainy season without any worries of leaks now that I have a new roof. I will definitely be referring them to family and friends when they are looking for a roofing contractor. Thank you to the True Shield Roofing team.
