Ace’s crew replaced my shake-shingle home with asphalt shingles. They coordinated timing and completed the work professionally, and promptly. They met, and in part exceeded, our expectations. I want to share my disappointing experience with Ace Roofing in Fairbanks. They redid my roof over two years ago, and since then, I've had nothing but problems. The vapor barrier they installed has holes, leading to frost and mold issues. When I reached out to them for a fix, they refused to take any responsibility, claiming it's due to excessive moisture inside the garage and that it's built too tightly. There was no baffling installed. We had at least 4 other companies come as well as an engineer and the baffling was the first thing that came up. We were told that we needed a drain installed in our garage, when prior to the replacement none of the mildew and paint peeling were ever an issue. This is unacceptable, and I expected better service and accountability from a professional roofing company. I would not recommend Ace Roofing to anyone looking for reliable and quality work.
Andre and the team at Ace Roofing are wonderful! They’re friendly, professional, quick to respond and get the job done! I contacted Andre on Thursday about a roof repair and he was onsite Friday to assess the situation. He was able to repair my roof THE SAME DAY giving me such peace of mind after waiting all summer with another company. He also suggest replacing my roof in the near future, and extending it out to protect the end wall of an addition done on the house. Andre was great to work with. I highly recommend Ace Roofing.
We had been having a tough time getting anyone to fix our roof. But Andre and ACE Roofing wasted no time in getting me a quote, being fair honest and transparent with us and getting the job done.
