In the Fall of 2025, our homeowners insurance doubled because the age of our old roof reached 25 years old. We started calling around for quotes to have a new roof installed. Vincent the sales rep for Roof Works of Virginia was super responsive. Arrived at our house the next day to evaluate the scope of the job. Once Vincent was on site, we also talked about replacing the old, faded shutters. Vincent submitted a very competitive bid to the replace the roof and the faded shutters.
We like the fact that Roof Works of Virginia has been in business for over 25 years in Fredericksburg and is a class A licensed contractor. They have an office/warehouse on Chewning Lane in Fredericksburg, so not just guys in a truck passing through the area. They have been providing a service in Fredericksburg for a long time.
Vincent kept us updated as far as when the crew would show up to replace the roof. The crew was on time and started removing the old roof by 7:00 AM. We had a new roof installed by 4:00 PM the same day. The crew worked hard and cleaned up the old roofing material before leaving. The project manager, T.J. walked the site with me after the job was finished to ensure everything met our expectations.
The shutters had to be ordered and were installed a few days later. There was a very minor issue with one of the shutters and the owner of the company, Scott, personally came to the site to make sure the issue was resolved to our satisfaction.
This is a very professional, well managed company. Dedicated to serving the Fredericksburg area and offers competitive prices. All of the employees were very easy to work with. I highly recommend giving them a call for your roofing needs.

Vincent from Roof Works was able to come as soon as the snow had melted to climb onto my roof to determine the source of the leak. Of course, he found it. Then TJ from Roof Works looked over the situation and made alternative recommendations and found other areas in my gutter guard that was causing some of the problems. He was able to fix all the problems and VOILA! no more leaks. Roof Works is a go to place for your roof. I'm so happy with their company, their employees and the stellar work they perform.

Siding job is beautiful! The crew paid attention to every little detail and kept the site clean even while doing the work. They went above and beyond to take care of a few items that weren't as expected based on the preliminary walk through of the job. I highly recommend Roof Works if you want a top quality job!

After getting a few different estimates from top rated roofing companies we decided to go with Roof Works of VA to replace our roof, and we couldn't be happier! Their estimate was a little lower than the competition and Vincent provided us with multiple different options to suit our needs. Although the roof replacement took longer than anticipated, this was due to the complexity of our roof and the extreme heat. The roofers took great care not to damage the plants and landscaping surrounding the house, and they did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. The new roof looks AMAZING! More importantly, even when our roof was brand new we had a small leak near the chimney whenever a big storm came through. However, our chimney was dry as a bone when yesterday's storm hit! I totally recommend Roof Works of VA for all your roofing needs!

UPDATE: In the 4.5 years since Roof Works replaced my roof, we have had a few fierce storms and high winds in my area. A few days ago I noticed a few ridge caps had blown off my roof so I called Roof Works to come out and replace the missing ridge caps. Less than 24 hours after I called, a crew was at my house and replaced the missing pieces under warranty. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Roof Works to replace my roof!
