I paid $60,000 to Certified Roofing Specialists for a roof and solar installation. The work was completed, but the experience did not match the premium price.

I was provided with a non English speaking crew, which made it hard to communicate important details. Because of this, I was never informed that my previously installed EV charger would create a solar permit issue. That oversight ended up costing me an additional $2,000.

For a company charging at the higher end, I expected clear communication and a thorough review of existing electrical work. Instead, I was left paying for issues that should have been identified upfront.

My advice to future customers:

- Make sure they thoroughly review all prior electrical work done in your home.
- Ask specifically about permit implications before signing.
- Get clear confirmation on who will be onsite and whether they can communicate effectively with you.
- Do not assume they will proactively flag electrical conflicts, you may be asked to pay for corrections later.

The company is on the expensive side, and I accepted that cost in exchange for what I believed would be a smooth, well-communicated experience. Unfortunately, the communication breakdown and unexpected added costs did not justify the premium pricing.

Proceed carefully and ask very detailed questions before committing.

We had the roof of our previous home replaced over seven years ago and were extremely happy with the quality of work. Because of that great experience, we chose to work with this company again a couple of years ago when we moved into our new home. They replaced the entire roof, including the patio cover, and once again did an excellent job.

Recently, after some heavy rain, we noticed a leak near the fireplace and contacted them. Ethan came out promptly to inspect the issue. He thoroughly evaluated everything and took multiple photos to explain what was going on. He assured us that the leak was not related to the roofing work they had completed. Instead, the issue was due to our very old chimney, which has cracks and other damage allowing water to seep between the bricks and into the fireplace.

We truly appreciate their honesty, knowledge, and professionalism. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company.

David came out to do the inspection and gave us a quote that was fair and very competitive compared to other companies. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. The team came out to do the work and finished within two days. I communicated with Ethan throughout the process and he made a great effort to keep me updated with the progress frequently. He was also very professional and knowledgeable about the work to be done. He and Pablo were quick and efficient. Definitely an overall great experience.

Certified Roofing Specialists did an outstanding job repairing my tile roof. From the initial inspection to the final cleanup, their professionalism and attention to detail were top-notch. They clearly explained the issue, showed me photos, and walked me through the repair options so there were no surprises. There was also other repairs I needed on the wood patio cover due to wood rot. Certified Roofing Specialists took care of everything.

The crew arrived on time, handled the tile with care, and matched the existing tiles perfectly. The repair was completed efficiently, the work area was left spotless, and the roof looks great. Most importantly, I feel confident the repair was done correctly and will last.

Ethan, the supervisor, was great to work with throughout the project. He answered my questions, came out to address a couple of items I noticed, and made sure everything was taken care of. I really appreciated his responsiveness and professionalism.

The new roof looks excellent, and I’m very happy with the end result. I would definitely recommend Certified Roofing Specialists, and a big thanks to Ethan for making everything go smoothly.
