Let me start out by saying, that if I could give more than five stars I would. After calling and messaging five or more roofing companies and getting little to no response from most of them, no show appointments and salesmen trying to turn a small job into a huge one, I googled “ Trustworthy roofers in Hamilton” and Edge’s roofing was the first business that popped up. There’s a reason they were the first business to pop up. Because they actually are trustworthy. Emeline Edge was an absolute delight to talk to, and so sweet in person as well. She made an appointment with us to come out a few days later and showed up right on time. She didn’t try to upsell us on anything. Her quote was not only fair, but was less than any others we had gotten. Her crew showed up to replace a small roof area above our front door that had been damaged by raccoons. They did an amazing job. Her crew is very knowledgable and very friendly and efficient. We had always had water dripping from behind our eaves trough in that area and after they were done, we have never had a problem with the dripping again. Andrew and Carl were nice enough to fix some missing and loose shingles that we had, for free! I had them come back just recently to replace some shingles and a ledge above our bathroom window as I was getting water in during heavy rains. Last night we had torrential rain right up against that window and I didn’t get one drop of water in for the first time in years. Please do yourself a favor, and call Edge’s roofing first. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with unprofessional, aggressive companies that don’t actually care one bit about you or your house. Give Emeline a call and she will impress you as much as she impressed us. Her and her crew are top-notch and I have already recommended them to several neighbours and family members. I would not hesitate to have them back to do any work I may need doing in the future because I know the price will be fair and the work will be professionally done.
