Just wanted to say that Robert Kropa and the gang did an outstanding job on putting a new roof on our house. The attention to detail and the workmanship really stand out. They even texted me photos throughout the process while I was at work, so i was able to see the process of removal of the old shingles and the laying of the new ones. It was done in a day and I just can't say enough about how much better the house looks with a new roof. I highly recommend Smith Roofing for any repairs or full roof installation.

Great company. If you are in need of a new roof, we highly recommend Smith Roofing. Hard working and always kept up to date through out the entire process. They also did an awesome job installing a new chimney cap. Brad Tindell was the project manager who did a great job getting the project done in a timely manner.
So the experience started out poorly when the main office failed to notify me of the cancellation of the first date. James called me to reschedule after I left a message with the salesman. All that behind - we set a new date and on that date all went smoothly and James operated his crew like a perfectly oiled machine. The job was was done in a day and all the crew was polite and hard workers. They cleaned up all the yard and it was left in better condition than when they started. James went above and beyond to assure I was happy with the job and there was no doubt his priority was the customer was happy and everything was done right. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the final outcome. If I could break down the ratings the main office folks would get a failing score but James certainly made me happy to give them a perfect score.
We Called Ten different roofing companies in the greater knoxville area and got quotes ranging from 7k-25k. Jake, on the sales/inspection team at Smith Roofing came out and was the only company to inspect the attic and by doing so they were able to anticipate future change orders/problems in the project that the other companies would have encountered down the line. Robert, was the installation project manager and made sure the materials, field crew, and clean up was done properly and in a timely fashion. Robert was great at communicating the timeline and gave updates throughout the project. Smith Roofing completed the installation of new asphalt shingles, all new drip edge, ice and water barrier on all the hips/valleys, and 30 sheets of new plywood sheeting in 12hrs. 7am-7pm I would highly recommend using them if you have a project and need it done right the first time.
