I approached more than a dozen bidders to redo my roof, which had numerous problems, as well as the numerous dormers, with the possibility of redoing the second level of siding.Few bidders bothered to inspect the attic, and Mr. Lessard was the one who noticed the most details. In speaking with him, it quickly became apparent that he possessed expertise that surpassed most of his competitors, as well as an attention to detail and a high level of workmanship.His bid wasn't the most affordable, but it wasn't the most expensive either. If we added the siding, the price was very competitive, so we chose that option. Of all the people from various companies we met, Nicolas from Toiture Delta was the only one who had been inside the attic. He noticed problems we were aware of but hadn't mentioned and offered to correct them in the quote. During our 1.5-hour meeting, he thoroughly explained the products (including the plumbing vent, which others hadn't mentioned, and the new ventilation system we'll be getting—instead of the two existing Maximums), the installation process, and answered all our questions. We didn't feel any pressure from him, unlike some others we've met.During the installation, which took a day and a half, we saw a professional and helpful team (they were even listening to good music, but that's the biased part of my review). We worked with the Toiture Delta team eight years ago, in August 2016. We would have given them a 5-star review back then, but it's only now, following an event I'll explain shortly, that I'm taking a moment to formalize my appreciation for this exceptional family business.To give you some background, our house presented numerous roofing challenges (four-sided slopes, six dormer windows, a stone chimney... in short, the whole shebang!). We obtained several quotes, and after meeting with a few contractors, we decided to go with Toiture Delta. This was mainly due to a feeling of professionalism and a sense of trust, based on their advice during the initial assessment meeting.Because of the scope of the project, we had the opportunity to watch the Toiture Delta team work for seven days. The house was scaffolded on all 4 sides, and the team was faithfully on duty every day, professional, polite and smiling! (Yes, I know... unbelievable, but ALL the guys on the work crew were polite, smiling, and respectful... and there really seemed to be a great sense of camaraderie among them. Anyway, at the end of the 7 days, we had a beautiful roof, and the guys left leaving practically NOTHING behind... We have a yard with multiple flowerbeds and plant arrangements, and we found practically nothing after they were done. They even used a magnet to check the plants for any nails that might have fallen from the roof!In short, even then, we could have written a 5-star review on Google. But the story continues... 8 years later.About two weeks ago, we noticed that a gable shingle had fallen to the ground. Not really knowing what to do about it, we left a message with Delta Roofing, explaining the situation, and... mentioning that we weren't sure what to do about it! At that point, It was a bit of a long shot, and we weren't really expecting a positive outcome, but we might have been given some advice on how to solve this little problem.Well, imagine our surprise when, a few days later, we received a message from Gabriel Lauzé, co-owner of Toiture Delta. He told us he'd be in our area in the next few days and would come and fix the panel... There wasn't a hint of negativity in his voice... As if it were a given that they should come and replace the shingle that had fallen to the ground...Today, when we got home, imagine our surprise to see a Toiture Delta truck parked in our driveway! Gabriel was perched at the end of his ladder, putting the fallen shingle back in place and inspecting the rest of the gable end...We took the time to chat, and we were once again reminded of the importance this company places on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. It's a family business built on strong values, which have been admirably passed down to the next generation.I truly can't help but warmly recommend this company!
