John Biegler was extremely knowledgeable in regards to a new roof that was put on our home prior to us knowing about Shield Roofing. There were a number of issues with how the other roofing company did the reroof that we just wanted to be done with the problems so we called John. He showed us the incorrect nailing that made some of the shingles not lay flat as well as not having the proper ventilation that should have been installed and several other things that we will get straightened out. We now know to go to Shield Roofing to get the job done properly and professionally….and so should everyone else! Thank you John Biegler and your partner/co-owner Joe Tickle (Hastings STC alum) for your time with us!

Before we knew about Shield Roofing, we had a “local” company reroof our home from hail damage and they did a very poor job. We called John B. at Shield Roofing to come and look at the nails and shingles that were sticking up and they took care of it pronto without charge even though they didn’t do the initial work to reroof. John also said the “local” company we used didn’t allow for sufficient ventilation and we will be going back to get them to take care of this problem that should have been dealt with from the very beginning. The “local” company didn’t even help us get the insurance paperwork done so we could get a reduction in premiums for the new roof…John helped us complete that as well! Thank you John and Shield Roofing for your professionalism and knowledge of the way a roof should be done correctly!

Highly recommended!!! So unlike the ‘fly by night’ contractors that swoop in after a storm and don’t do the job the right way and may not even be licensed. John and his team provided professional great looking results. John worked with the insurance adjuster to ensure all details were covered and no surprises. The job was done on time and they did a great job cleaning up. Shield Roofing completely won my trust and is my go forward roofing contractor.
