Workmanship and crew efficiency are praised, though a small number of reviews cite delays and extended timelines on punch-list items.
Dan Taylor from Pride Roofing did an absolutely excellent job coordinating the repairs and communication with his team to perform high-quality roof repairs that were necessary due to severe high wind damage. What impressed me even more were two things;1. I received a follow up call after the job was completed to see if I had any concerns and make certain that the job met my satisfaction. A follow up phone call is something so simple yet often times overlooked today by many people and I appreciate that Pride Roofing took the time to make the call.2.Dan managed to overcome my ill conceived, poor opinion of a job that had nothing to do with Pride Roofing. In short, I had a poor experience with another company, but thought it was Pride Roofing. The poor experience was NOT with Pride, but Dan was never insulted or rude about the issue and eventually details of the previous transaction reminded me that I had the wrong company. It took pure professionalism from Dan to work through my false accusations regarding Pride Roofing.I would highly recommend their services to anyone I know based on the professionalism and experience that I received from the entire team that worked on my project.
Pride's representative made an appointment the day after I called and Rod was on the spot, viewed what roof damage I had and sat down with me. There is no pressure or push from him. He was up front with all the information and even great suggestions. After scheduling the roof to be replaced, he kept me informed of any changes or delays. The roofing crew was fantastic in all ways. They showed up, laid down tarps, removed the damaged shingles, laid new underliers, shingles and cleaned up. I did not even know they left. The yard was clean of all debris; you could not tell I had the roof replaced in one day. Rod called and asked if everything was good and I had to tell him the Pride was great in all aspects. A big shout out to him and his crew. Great staff, great workers and quality of work. Thanks Pride.
Nearly 6 months to resolve damage and commitments. “Over-communication” is pure marketing. Our roof was installed in early June. What followed was nearly six months of delays, missed commitments, and escalation just to get damaged and unfinished work corrected.Pride Roofing aggressively markets “over-communication” as its "secret sauce". Those promotional videos are made by Billy, the General Manager, who was also my main point of contact. In reality, Billy was the source of most communication delays, with responses often taking days or weeks.Billy explicitly committed during the estimate and again on install day to properly repair pre-existing siding damage from a leaking gutter. That repair was not completed for months. Two fascia boards were also damaged during roof removal/installation and left unresolved.Additionally, screen repairs were subpar and had to be redone a second time. Resolution took nearly a month, again largely due to communication delays.Pride’s own foreman took 336 photos documenting the job, yet none showed the two damaged fascia boards that later required full replacement. This was very concerning and raised serious questions about why damage caused during installation was never documented. Ownership had no explanation for why those areas were never documented. In August, after notifying them multiple times that a negative review was quickly being earned, the owner called to assure me all issues would be fixed to my satisfaction and at no cost. That call did not improve communication or reduce delays. After multiple repeated follow-ups well into mid-November, I demanded Pride Roofing’s Certificate of Insurance. Colorado law requires roofing companies to provide a COI at contract signing. I never received it; instead, after the second demand, and after obtaining outside estimates, ownership agreed to repair the damage.Once ownership became directly involved again in late November, repairs were completed within two days and done well, proving that the issue was one of management and accountability, rather than complexity.I believe Pride Roofing has capable crews, but serious internal changes to communication, management oversight, and accountability are needed.Bottom line:Workmanship (once escalated a second time) was acceptable.Communication, leadership, and follow-through were not.Get everything in writing.Demand insurance before signing.Do not rely on “over-communication” claims.Be prepared to escalate. This should never have taken half a year.
I recently had my roof in Cheyenne replaced by the Pride crew. I dealt primarily with Matt Taylor and his team, and am very pleased with the entire sequence of events and final results. Matt made every effort to stay in touch and ensure the job was completed correctly. The work crew did an incredible job with cleaning the yard after the work was completed, and made sure I didn't have to dig scraps of tar paper or shingles out of the hedges and shrubs around the house. Matt followed up after the work was complete and identified a few minor issues that he had some folks come back and take care of to ensure the job was done "right." Kudos to Matt Taylor and the entire Pride team. Great job guys!
After a nasty hailstorm this summer we needed our roof replaced and decided to use Pride Roofing to complete the project. Our decision was made in part because Pride is local to Loveland and carries a superior shingle product (Malarkey), however the main deciding factor that put them over the top from all the other roofers that came calling was Chris Robinson. Chris was our first point of contact from Pride, and after making him aware that I was going to be a tough customer as I work as both a contractor and in the insurance industry he smiled and gladly accepted the challenge. Now that the project is complete, I can happily say he made the Marine Corp proud by going above and beyond throughout the whole process. Chris was, honest, punctual, acted with integrity, and even picked up the slack when other parts of the project weren’t going well. Before the build Chris made multiple trips to our house to help with the insurance paperwork and confirm everything was going smoothly. On the day of the build, he was present, kept things running efficiently and ensured we were satisfied with their work and the cleanliness of our yard upon completion. With regards to Pride in general, their crew did an excellent job, and we are very satisfied with how the roof turned out. Everyone we worked with was friendly, knowledgeable and kept the project on track. Both the roofing and gutter crews were respectful of our property and demonstrated superior craftmanship even against my tough standards. With all that said I would highly recommend Pride Roofing and Chris Robinson to take care of any of your roofing needs!
