Update: unfortunately the work has not held up less than a year later. A subsequent roofing company inspected the work and found sub-par nails being used. I have reached out multiple times for warranty help but I have had no response from Universal Roofing Specialists. I regret that I can no longer recommend them due to the roof issues and no response to address it.

I had some roof tiles that were falling off the edge of my house. I received 2 quotes to repair the roof. I am very happy we chose Universal Roofing Specialists. They were so responsive, professional, and communicative. The work was done in a timely manner and appears to be good quality. Their price was competitive as well.
I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family and I will use them for any of my future roofing needs.

I called URS with a roof repair issue on Jan 2. The staff who took the call was very pleasant and was able to get me on schedule Jan 4. Tile and gutter had begun to separate from the stucco. The owner showed up Jan 4, (30 mins early I might add ....who does that???) :-) He was extremely pleasant, introduced himself and proceeded to review the damages. Although the damage seemed to only be in the area I pointed out, he took the time to inspect the entire room to ensure there were no other potential damages lurking. Just like that the damages were repaired. I will definitely refer Shawn's company and will absolutely use them for any roofing repairs in the future.

I had very short period for next rain storm to hit us and I call Universal Roofing and Shawn the owner came right out and gave me an estimate that I thought was very fair. Geez a day later he came out and fixed it himself. It was leaking around our entire entryway hallway ruining our ceiling. He found the problem with in minutes and was able to fix it the same day getting our roof leakproof. He’s an awesome Family man that bends over backwards to make sure your needs are met. Plus he’s local right here in Maricopa Az.

Customer service for Universal Roofing Specialist was phenomenal, they attended to my needs promptly they provided a quote and followed through making sure I was satisfied. The technician "Deshawn Jordan" that serviced my roof was on time, courteous, and professional. They were able to provide pictures of the completed work and surpassed my expectations. I would most definitely use them again and refer them to friends and family.

I have an older metal roof on a 24x60 manufacturered home that was in need major repairs or replacement. I had several leaks throughout my home that was damaging the ceiling sheetrock & my subflooring. My insurance refused to cover due to the age of the roof. I was at a loss.
1. It was almost impossible to get anyone out to Hidden Valley where I live for an estimate.
2. The few that did come gave basic/non-discriptive proposals ranging from 15k to 10k.
3. I was in tears & depressed because I could not afford that kind of repair. I was so stressed/depressed because I was going to literally lose my home if I could not do something with the roof. I'm single & have a small income this was devestating.
4. I reached out to "Universal Roofing" & the owner was at my doorstep the next day. He was very professional, polite but yet very personalble. He took twice the time to inspect the roof than the other companies that "did" come out.
5. With in less than 24 hours I had an extremely detailed proposal to include photos of the damaged areas & the detailed process of what it would take to repair it. I was very impressed. But afraid to look at the "Botttom Line-Price".
6. Universal Roofing price was not only affordable to my budget but he gave me help in working with my bank providing excellet documents & support.
7. The owner showed up when he said he would, on or before time, worked more than a full days work each day (If you've dealt w/contractors this is unusual in a good way).
I could not believe the results! Just look at the before and after photos!

*I want to disclose that I have never heard of this company before I reached out to them and I have never met or know the owner, any employees or family prior to my work on my roof.
This is just an incredible company and worth my time to review!
