Twas the days before Christmas and from the roof of the house, something was stirring, but it wasn't a mouse...With my parents out of the country, their skylight started leaking in the monsoon rains we've been having, so I was left to deal with it.Leaving messages with several other roofers, I got ghosted more than Ebeneezer Scrooge.But John from LaFever came out the same afternoon as I called (Christmas Eve Eve) to provide an estimate. He identified issues with the flashing but this type of skylight requires a specialized flashing kit. So he gave me the photos and a number for a specialist who is now coming out Christmas Eve to look at it.I really appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism, especially when there didn't end up being anything in it for them.If Santa's reindeer mess up my shingles, I will be calling LaFever first.

We hired Lafever roofing to tear off our old wood shake roof and put up asphalt shingles. We had them do the house, the garage and an outbuilding. As is somewhat typical for a wood shake roof, the construction was different but Lafever handled it like the pro's they are. The quote was competitive but the detail, communication and work and care of the project is what made the difference. They communicated the details throughout the project, which was difficult being the property is remote with little cell coverage. We appreciated how they handled every little detail of the project and will use them again and highly recommend them.
