Hiring a roofing contractor can be stressful, especially a few weeks before Christmas. Tonya, Mary and John Mace made it easy. From the beginning they were genuine, legit, professional people. They handled my insurance company in a transparent fashion (hail and wind damage) and made the whole process understandable. They made recommendations on shingles, color, etc that we agreed to and the results are fantastic. I always knew what the next steps were and the communication was proactive and straightforward. The team navigated cold temps and drizzle beautifully, and got the whole roof done in 1 1/2 days as promised. And the property was very clean when they left, which I frankly did not expect. Brooke was a pleasure to work with, and she helped us every step of the way. She worked with us with setting up the roof inspection, worked with our insurance company, and even our HOA to get our roof replaced with high quality Owens Corning shingles. She made the process easy and painless and kept the lines of communication open the entire time with any questions or concerns we had.The construction crew was quick and professional, though we weren’t home for most of the construction. The crew cleaned up after they completed the project later that day, and the yard was in good condition when I got back home. The finished roof looks great. We like the Peppercorn shingles we chose, and they look good on the house. The grays and tans really stand out.
