DJK Roofing

DJK has a deservedly excellent reputation. My little house job was treated with the same respect and professionalism that I am sure is given to their much larger and more expensive jobs. Pete came out and thoroughly inspected, including the attic. (Not all roofers bother to inspect the roof from the attic.) He answered my several emailed questions, with grace, never indicating I was a PIA customer.
Pete’s proposal was very reasonable and included the possibility, with cost, that more plywood may be needed. I really appreciated the heads up rather than having a job started and being told oops, you need x,y,z for more money. Pete could warn me because he did a thorough inspection and wasn’t trying to lure me in with a lower initial price that would ultimately cost much more. In other words, Pete is honest.
The job itself – Carmine was there the entire day to supervise, observe, be a resource if any questions arose. All day, at my little house, even though his crew was an experienced team. They worked swiftly but with observable precision. No “close enough” on their measures and cuts. Precise, coordinated and efficient.
I’ve had a few roofs redone over my many years, at different homes. Until I had DJK do this roof I didn’t recognize the difference between “good enough” and excellence. It sounds dumb, but I enjoy looking at my roof leaving and returning home because I know I made a really good choice using DJK, Pete, Carmine and his crew. I have no worries. This is the last roof I will have to replace or make repairs to due to less than the best installation.

I’ve had the privilege of having another roof done by DJK. Once in my previous home a few years back, and again in my new home this past summer.

Pete, Carmine, and the crew did a phenomenal job yet again. They were punctual, worked quickly despite the weather constraints, and communicated clearly and efficiently throughout the process.

We would highly recommend DJK Roofing. They are incredibly honest and responsive. We had a small issue and were worried we wouldn’t be able to get someone to fix it. I sent an email after hours. Early the next morning, I had a response from Pete. He was at our house a couple of hours later in the morning and resolved the problem for us on the spot. We couldn’t be more grateful for the prompt and courteous service.

During the roof replacement the crew came in on time. Very respectful of our property. Carmine was with them to oversee and troubleshoot.
