Monarch Roofing

I highly recommend Austyn Bostwick of Monarch Roofing for any roofing repair needs. Austyn was efficient, professional, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. He communicated in such a respectful and friendly manner, which made the experience stress-free and pleasant. The repair work was completed promptly and with great attention to detail. It’s refreshing to work with someone who truly values customer service and quality workmanship. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone needing roofing repairs.

All I can say is, this company has great customer service. I recently purchased a home in the Georgetown area, and the home has a five year old asphalt shingle roof done by Monarch Roofing. Both the home inspector and another contractor commented on the great quality of the roof. There are a lot of different angles on my roof, with high pitches, dormers, and others. About 5 months in to the purchase, we had a significant storm, and had one of the roof shingles slip out. I called Monarch roofing, and they put me in touch with a field supervisor, Austin Bostwick, who called me immediately, found out the issue, and made an appointment to check my roof and correct the issue. Understand I had a materials warranty with GAF, the manufacturer, but not with Monarch. Austin arrived, making sure to call twice to verify our date and time, and within 20 minutes, had the issue fixed. He also inspected the entire roof, found another minor shingle issue that he corrected, and was finished. Monarch did not charge me for the service call, and wanted to make sure I as the homeowner was satisfied with their roof work, even though the roof was several years old. I must say I was seriously impressed with the professionalism displayed by the Monarch Roofing team, from the initial call taker through working with Austin, and the final result. I highly recommend the work they do, and the customer service experience is a cut above. Thank you Austin!

I had to have my roof replaced even though it was only 7 years old. We started developing leaks in the roof and staining the ceiling. I called Monarch Roofing to see if I could get someone out to stop the leaks. It was raining very hard that day and they sent Nick and John out right away to inspect the roof. Nick and John after spending time on the roof in the rain came down with video of there inspection. Nick and John went over everything they seen and told us of many areas that need repairs. After everything they recommended getting a new roof due to the damage we had. They went over each plan they had and prices the the plans. We decided to go with the best plan and the 30 year warranty from Monarch. They also went over payment options that help us make our decision. Nick and John weren’t pushing a new roof and did pressure us at all to go with Monarch. They just stated the facts. They also did a temporary fix to stop the leaks. A day later I received a call from Ainhoa from Monarch roof. She was so helpful explaining each and every step that was going to happen with the new roof replacement. She was a pleasure and easy to work with from the roof replacement and payment process. Josh Baker was the project manager of the job for our house. Josh and his crew were excellent. Josh kept me informed all day while the job was being done and hooked me up to an app link the company uses to show the job in progress. From the bad pictures of the roof to the good pictures of the roof Josh was willing to explain what was going on with the job. The crew worked hard and fast and completed the job in the day. They cleaned you unbelievable and left the place excellent. Josh was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the roof business. He made the day for us not stressful. I am adding photos of some of the work that was done to our roof. Overall working with the staff of Monarch Roofing was a great experience. Thank you Monarch Roofing.

I am giving this company 2 stars because parts of my experience were good, but the issues I encountered, especially with communication and refund handling, were significant enough to prevent a higher rating. My initial appointment with Jacob went very well, and every interaction I had with Abby was professional, responsive, and helpful. Abby consistently tried to assist and follow up, and I appreciated her efforts. Unfortunately, my experience with the project manager, Justice, was disappointing. He handled our communication through text messages. I believe I only spoke twice with him in person and the first was to introduce himself. I specifically asked him to speak with me before leaving for the day to explain a photo regarding bracing and to clarify what the issue was. He did not take the time to do so and instead texted me. The crew finished my roof at dusk and into darkness using flashlights and cell phone lights. When I asked a worker if they could see well enough, I was told they could “see good enough.” This was not reassuring, and I would have preferred the work be completed in full daylight. They also had to clean up the nails etc. in the dark. Also, a concern since I have dogs. The largest issue, and the primary reason for the 2-star rating, was the handling of my refund. I was owed $3,074, which I was told by Jacob would be refunded within 2–3 weeks of roof completion. The roof was finished on 11/5/25, meaning I should have received the refund by 11/26/25. I did not. Over several weeks, I made multiple calls to Monarch and was repeatedly given conflicting information about who handled refunds. I was told a check would be issued, then it wasn’t, transferred to incorrect contacts, and left waiting without follow-up calls. Eventually, I was told by Kaylan to pick up a check on December 22. I deposited it, only to be notified by my bank on December 24 that the check was returned as worthless, and my account was debited the full $3,074. This left me short that amount, which caused significant stress and required me to pull money from my savings to cover the gap. I was then told by Kaylan another check would be ready on December 26, but when I arrived, I was informed no one working that day had the ability to print a check and that I would need to come back the following Monday. That was not acceptable, especially given the circumstances. While Kaylan apologized and eventually arranged for the funds to be wired, the wire did not process in time to prevent financial strain over the weekend. The company’s concern seemed focused only on themselves, not on the stress, inconvenience, or financial impact caused by THEIR error to me, their customer. The sign in their waiting room says, “Monarch, because you deserve the best.” Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that statement. I sincerely hope their roofing workmanship proves better over time than their financial and administrative processes. I am sharing this review so future customers are aware. I recognize the company has many positive reviews, but this experience was real, prolonged, and extremely frustrating.

We are so happy with our new roof. The work Monarch staff and crew did was amazing. We worked with Fernando who inspected our roof. We are in a fairly new home but there were some concerns we had. Fernando found our concerns and showed us other areas that needed attention. Abby set up the delivery of the materials and Zack our Project Manager made sure we knew what was going on throughout the installation. The quality and workmanship is worth every penny as well as the peace of mind we now have. Thanks again Monarch.
