They installed the roof in 2016. They no longer perform residential work and had a non transferable workmanship guarantee. Shingles began sliding off in 2019, and I just found a spot where they completely failed to place a shingle at a roof joint at the gutter line. Finally they failed to install a component correctly and I have wood damage just below the roof edge.
Part 2. For anyone reading the review and the company’s response, note that they try to use the time of 9 years even though poor workmanship caused problems after only 3 years as my initial review indicated.

Showalter does an excellent job of explaining their proposals and offers. Will even take their time to explain their competitors’ proposals and offers. I was truly impressed.
About eight years ago, I had them install a new roof for me. I only had one tiny leak in 8 years. Considering installment of another roof on another section this year. They deserve a 5 star. Been around since 1979 for a reason.
