Having had a complete roof replacement a few years ago, on a complex roof, recently we noticed some shingle pieces on the ground. Damian came out right away to inspect and determined some of the ridge caps had blown off. After the assessment, the Operations Manager Devon, approved the repair of all damaged pieces without charges and demonstrated their dedicated commitment to customer satisfaction. A special thanks to Devon and Damian for making this situation resolve to complete customer satisfaction. Universal roofing recently completed replacing my roof on our home. I can’t express how easy it was working with all of the staff from Dylan in sales to Mike the project manager and Olga from the office who kept me up to date on the process. I normally don’t write a lot of reviews, but I felt the need to since I was very pleased of the completed job and the pricing was fair and such a professional company. Universal Rood and Contracting is a class act. I heard them speak on the radio for 2 minutes and decided to call them. We had estimates from two other companies prior, but we knew when Bill came to our home to give us an estimate, that this was the company that was going to do a good job. His professionalism and experience was evident right from the start. Steve, our project manger, as well as Ronald (senior project manager) did an amazing job changing out our shingle roof to a metal roof, as well as replace our gutters. Every step of the way was explained to us in detail and excellent communication was had. They took care of every minute detail. The crew were clean, efficient, courteous and professional every step of the way. They cared for our property like it was their own. I highly recommend them to change out your roof. Universal Roof and Contracting has done a superior job repairing and replacing my 33 year old shingle roof. Every person that I dealt with was professional, knowledgeable and experienced.

I chose Universal because they are the Orlando area Owen’s Corning Platinum Installer. The 25 year warranty and the Exclusive Loyalty Program were additional incentive to hire Universal.

From the beginning, Andy Sims in sales was a patient and godly young man who worked with me for over 5 months to nail down exactly what I could expect and what I wanted from the company. The price was fairly valued for the work done and he checked in with me once the job started. Thank you Andy!

Next was the project manager Brian Bauer who contacted me to walk the project and climb the roof and explain the difference between roof repair/replacement and craftsmanship and why something I wanted done, would be inferior. He explained the difference in sloping and drainage that his team would complete. As it turns out, Universal employs craftsmen who take pride in their work.

3 days before the project began, Brian brought his project supervisor, Anderson Gomez and the crew leader Edgar to climb and walk the project. I was told that Anderson was the best…. I jokingly asked him if he was the best and he said, “ they say I am”. I appreciated his humility.

As the project progressed, I found out why they referred to him as the best… because he has an eye for detail and expects the crew to do the job right the first time. Every detail that I expected was surpassed! All additional work to be done was noted and explained with appropriate pricing. Additional charges were well within reason for the scope of the project. Thank you Anderson!

Knowing the craftsmanship of repairs I witnessed and quality of installation that I saw, I expect a very long service life of this Owens Corning installation by Universal Roof and Contractor.

Highly recommend. Job well done. Starting with Cory to the project manager Mike Ramos and his crew they did an amazing job on our roof repairs, shingles and chimney replacement, new skylight and vents. We had a lot of hail damage and they walked us through every step of the process to bring our home up to code. The decorative design looks amazing and the addition of the new gutters that were also damaged and needed replacing brought it all together. It looks like a brand new house. We couldn’t be happier. Mike was very professional and very knowledgeable and the crew was excellent from start to the amazing clean up when the project was completed. Mike provided daily detailed updates on the entire project and any issues that came up. I can’t thank him and his crew enough for the awesome job.
