Discovered ice dams starting to penetrate my home. Found Lizmar online, they responded promptly and were able to fit me in on an emergency basis. They arrived punctually with a full crew, shoveled my roof, applied roof pucks in the proper places to dissolve the ice accumulation and their pricing was exactly as quoted.
We ran into a very tough situation as new homeowners. With the Arctic blast we experienced in New England this year we were aware of an ice dam that grew in the gutter on the backside of the house that gets very little direct sun. My wife strongly advised that I not climb on the roof to clear it. Married men will understand what I mean about "strongly advised"! We had a GFCI switch trip in our main bathroom that is up stream from the circuit that runs to the master bathroom. I replaced the GFCI but it tripped again immediately. As it turns out we had water entering the wall that the bathroom shares with attached garage. This was extremely dangerous because it had made contact with the electrical outlet. After calling multiple vendors to remove the ice dam and being quoted at 850 an hour we were horrified. Our insurance carrier put us in touch with ServPro who recommended Lizmar Construction. It was too late at night on a Friday to contact any vendors so I texted Lizmar first thing Saturday morning. German replied right away, I sent pictures of the ice dam and explained our situation. He was quick, professional and dropped our stress level immediately. He was able to lead a crew to remove the ice dam and all the snow on our roof 90 minutes later! I hired the services of LizMar construction to shovel snow off of my roof. We hired LizMar to replace our roof. They were very professional and provided a detailed contract. German explained everything about the types of shingles that were available along with the warrantees. He answered all of our questions and covered every possible aspect of replacing the roof. We had to replace five skylights. He was highly recommended by a friend, and we are grateful to him and his staff. They were meticulous and worked diligently to have the roof replaced in a timely manner. We also appreciated them cleaning up the entire yard, not just the roof debris. THANK YOU!!!
