St. Lucie Roof provided an exceptional service during our recent project involving the replacement of multiple roofs on our condominium buildings and clubhouse in Islamorada, located in the Florida Keys. This undertaking was prompted by our insurance company's request, following the inspections mandated by the state of Florida in response to the tragic building collapse in Miami.Initially, we engaged an engineer recommended by our previous management company, who indicated that there were potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of spalling that needed attention on our concrete roof. However, after consulting with two roofing companies, it became evident that there was a lack of consensus regarding the engineer's assessments. Consequently, we decided to part ways with our management company and sought a second opinion from an independent engineer.Upon commencing work, St. Lucie Roof demonstrated their expertise by thoroughly opening up the roof and removing all layers. Their findings confirmed our second opinion: the spalling was, in fact, quite minor. I was astounded by the efficiency and professionalism of St. Lucie Roof, who deployed a remarkable crew of 27 skilled workers, along with flatbed trucks loaded with materials and cranes, to complete the project in just one week.The feedback from condominium owners has been overwhelmingly positive; many expressed that they had never witnessed such a well-coordinated operation. The finished product is stunning, with the addition of an elegant drip edge and a partnership with a gutter company to ensure we avoid any future issues. While gutters may not be a common feature on condominium buildings in the Florida Keys, their necessity cannot be overstated, and we are grateful for St. Lucie Roof's foresight in addressing this aspect. Overall, our buildings look fantastic, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
This company was an absolute pleasure to work with! Very kind, knowledgeable, responsive and a hard working crew! We're working on making our new little home our tropical paradise after purchasing it this past December. It needed a new roof so we went with metal. Jeff came out within 24 hours of my call, gave an estimate that day which came in under others. I thought I'd have a 5 or 6 week wait but they put me on the short list if someone canceled and I got lucky! Everything worked out on time from there as promised. The crew was so nice and it only took a few short days to get it done. They went above and beyond to schedule a new front gutter install for us too, which isn't normally part of their job. Thank you, we feel so much better having this new roof and now we can paint our home and landscape earlier than we hoped as well. I HIGHLY recommend Port St. Lucie Roofing!
