I met with Chris Tugwell initially to get an estimate on my roof. He was quick to get back to me with the estimate within days. I am very happy with the outcome of my roof. The crews over approximately five days were very professional and polite. Be prepared to have the grounds around the roof be inundated with roofing material, staples and nails. I didn’t realize how much comes off the roof during this process. To the crews credit, they do there best to clean the grounds upon completion of the job. I highly recommend Tugwell Roofing company.
We recently purchased a 26-year-old home in Redding with a concrete tile roof that had been neglected for many years. There were several cracked tiles, clogged valleys and moss in all the shaded areas, especially on the north side. There was also some dry rot at one corner of the roof. Although we considered having the roof replaced, a relative recommended we contact Tugwell Roofing. Chris came out and did a very thorough inspection and discussed our options, along with his recommendations. We accepted his very fair estimate. His very profession crew was on-time and very respectful of our property. Chris kept us informed of their progress and how they were replacing the broken tiles throughout the job. They did an amazing job at the agreed upon estimate! We returned to the house after they completed the work and are "over-the-top" ecstatic with the results. It looks like a new roof! All of the valleys and gutters are sparkling clean and the repair/replacement of the rot area is "invisible!" The crew left our property cleaner than it has ever been since we purchased the home. The day Mike and his crew began the removal of our old roof was a big day for us. Mike took time to explain every step in detail and listen to our concerns. He even made time to give us updates throughout the day while we were away at work. Cody and his guys did the installation, which he promptly coordinated with us. We had our roof installed by Tugwell just over a month ago. We were so pleased with the entire process. Initially, David, their estimator, arrived on time, was thorough and honest. It did take some time to finally have all the work scheduled since they are so busy right now. Once it was scheduled everything ran smoothly. The project leader, Cody, was very good with communication and kept us informed during the tear-off and installation. The work crews were professional and fast! I was amazed that the roof installation only took one day. After all the work was completed both David and Cody followed up with us. I highly recommend Tugwell Roofing's services. Tugwell replaced my roof this week. David handled my project to get it scheduled and get the details ironed out. He dropped samples by the house for me to choose my color. They use a quality product with many colors to choose from. He was professional, prompt, and responsive. Cody was the project manager during the installation. He was informative, pointing out what needed to be replaced and gave me updates on the timeline for completion. All the workers were polite and worked efficiently, only taking one day to remove the old roof and make repairs and then a 2nd day to install the new roof. They left my property just as they found it, not a scrap of debris to be found. Best of all, the roof looks great! The seams are perfect and the roof caps are even and cover the paintline. I couldnt be happier with the results. Thank you David, Cody, and all the other workers. You all did a great job!
