As seniors on a fixed income, getting a new roof felt like a big step for us. After a wind storm caused some damage, we discovered our whole roof was starting to wear out. Porter Family Roofers LLC came out quickly and gave us a clear, detailed proposal. Once we agreed, they scheduled us for installation. Even though the work was delayed a bit because of the weather, everything was explained to us and we felt kept in the loop. The materials were delivered right to our property, with many of the supplies set directly on the roof to make things efficient. When the roofing crew arrived, Cesar and his team got right to work with a full tear-off, replaced some of the old plywood, and installed new sealant sheets, metal valleys, and edges. We also discussed and improved our roof ventilation plan with their help. I watched the process closely and was really impressed with how skilled and careful everyone was. Every day ended with a thorough cleanup, which I appreciated. After the job was finished, they did a full walk-through and inspection, and kept us updated with photos throughout the process so we could see every step. A week later, another crew came out and installed gutter covers on our existing gutters, making sure everything worked perfectly. We are very happy with the results and feel confident we won’t need to worry about our roof again. Highly recommend!

cesar and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job! we had a new roof installed on one of our buildings in downtown richmond, and from the beginning, their attention to detail, strong work ethic, and quality craftsmanship really stood out. cesar always returns calls quickly if he's not available right away, and shows up on time when he says he will, as long as the weather allows. we were so happy with their roofing work that we decided to have them put a new roof on our house as well. the office staff is also great—very friendly and helpful. highly recommend this team for anyone needing roofing services in richmond!

after noticing a leak in my son's bedroom, i decided it was time to have our 24-year-old roof replaced. i got a quote elsewhere and then talked to some neighbors who recently had their roofs done. everyone had great things to say about this roofing company and their crew, especially austin. i even found out another neighbor had the same positive experience. austin came out the day after i called, took a good look at the roof, and gave me a quote with several options just a few hours later. the price was lower than my other quote, and they were able to start work in just 10 days. the team finished the job quickly, worked professionally, and took care of our property the whole time. the quality and attention to detail were excellent. i also had them replace a broken attic fan, install new gutters, put in a skylight, and redo the roof on our shed. austin is honest and sticks to his word, with a real focus on doing things right for a fair price. it's hard to find this level of service and quality these days in richmond. i highly recommend them, not just from my own experience, but from what my neighbors shared too. really appreciate austin and his crew for their great work!

When I needed estimates for a roof repair and replacement, I reached out to five different roofing contractors. This company got back to me quickly, while most of the others never even returned my call. That gave me confidence that they would be reliable and easy to reach for any questions or future needs. Throughout the entire inspection and estimate process, they stayed in touch and communicated clearly. They were also very helpful and met with my home insurance adjustor to make sure everything went smoothly. Their quote was very fair, and they use top-quality GAF roofing materials. On the day of the roof installation, Austin and the crew arrived right on time. They worked efficiently and made sure to protect my landscaping and take care of my historic home. We were a little unsure at first when Cesar knocked on our door in Richmond, but we’re so glad he did! He inspected our roof and helped us understand the insurance process, even meeting with the adjuster to go over all the damage. Austin did a video call with us to explain which areas and roofing materials would be replaced, answered all our questions, and let us know what to expect next. We chose our shingles, and they arrived the day before the installation. The roofing crew showed up right on time, worked efficiently, and managed to tear off the old roof and install the new one all in a single day. They made sure the area was spotless before leaving. A few days later, Cesar returned to check over the finished roof and make sure everything looked perfect. Austin also came by to replace our damaged downspouts, and he did a fantastic job. Throughout the process, everyone was professional, explained each step clearly, arrived as scheduled, and really focused on making sure we were happy with the work. Our new roof and downspouts look great, and the whole project was smooth and well-organized from start to finish.
