Powers Roof Service came out to inspect my roof and the tech found slipped and broken tiles and he subsequently made emergency repairs. Meanwhile, I checked with the builder as the home is just gone eight years in age and found that the roof is still under warranty and so they made permanent repairs under the terms of the warranty. I asked Powers Roof Service for an invoice for the emergency repairs and the owner contacted me directly and advised that there would be no charge. In fact, he was glad to hear that the repairs were covered under warranty.

I am so very impressed by Powers Roof Service regarding their professionalism, their great business sense, and their good neighbor outlook.

We needed to repair spots of dry rot on the eaves of our house and we called a few roofers for estimates. Powers Roof Service was far and above all others in their professional approach. Their examination revealed areas that needed maintenance (other’s estimates also confirmed this but were more extreme in their scope of work). Powers Roof Service showed pictures of needed work, which gave us confidence in the integrity of their estimate. Timing was critical because we had painting scheduled. It rained the Thursday Powers Roof Service was scheduled and they postponed the work until the rained stopped two days later. They put together a crew to come that Saturday to complete the work. They were clean, thorough and all the workers were considerate and professional. A neighbor had recommended them to us as the only roofers they would let work on their roof. Having the experience we did with Powers Roofing, we feel the same. Powers Roof Service will be the roofers we use should we need work in the future.

I found Powers Roof Service while looking through all of the roofer reviews on Yelp. They consistently had 5 star reviews where customers raved about their service and value.

After we found a small leak, I contacted them in June and scheduled an appointment to receive an estimate. The person that came out was extremely professional, explained that he needed to inspect the roof and would take lots of pictures to go over what he found. I could hear him walking around and removing and replacing tiles for nearly an hour, after which he came back and showed me all of the pictures of how dirty our "valleys" were on our roof where the roof lines come together to form a valley for the water to run down to the gutters. I was shocked at how they were full of dirt and dried mud and other crud. Our house is 20 years old and we had never had this kind of inspection before so had no idea how "clogged" the flashing was under the tiles until he pulled them off to inspect them. He then showed me a quote that had all of the items he found listed with a price to fix each one, and he prioritized which items he thought were most important to fix. I was a little surprised how many things he found, but considering how little work we've done on our roof for 20 years, it wasn't that bad considering we should have had it serviced years ago. After he left, the company sent me an email with the quote and a copy of all of the pictures he took. I then set up an appointment for October so we could save up a bit since I was originally thinking it would just be a simple repair rather than a pretty big project.

Scheduling the service was easy and they credited us the $89 cost of the estimate towards the total price. The morning of the service, the foreman met with me and explained everything they would be doing, and a big work crew showed up and got to work immediately pulling off all of the roof tiles in all of the affected areas of the roof. There were so many workers that I could hear them working in nearly all parts of my roof at the same time. They then cleaned out all of the valley "flashings" and installed additional protective rubber surfaces over areas where the paper was deteriorating, and fixed some of the wood trim that had some dry rot. They had so many people working on it that they finished by about 2pm, whereas it probably would have taken a single roofer at least 4 or 5 days to complete the work. When they were finished they showed me before and after pictures of each area they worked on so I could see what had been done, and thoroughly explained what they did and that my roof shouldn't need any inspections or maintenance for a good 7 or 8 years. They then sent me an email 3 days later with all of the pictures so I have them for future reference.

This was such a great experience. I can't recommend Powers Roof Service enough. They are extremely professional, explain everything, take pictures of all areas of concern and how they fixed it, and it all went exactly as they explained. There were no surprises at all and I paid exactly what they quoted back in June.

In this day and age where it's so difficult to find good repair people who are reasonably priced, I highly recommend this company and definitely will use them again when it comes time for me to have my roof inspected again. Since I regularly rely on Google and Yelp reviews to find good repair companies I wanted to be sure I shared my own positive experience with them.

I bought this home in south Auburn, about seven years ago; I honestly didn’t know much about having roof problems until two years later when I noticed the wall paint where hot water heater stood was peeling off and the drywall did not seem to be dry at all … LOL! There was a leak coming from one of the back-roof valleys between the garage and the guest room; this leak has been going on for years!
Anyway, my neighbor across the street recommended Powers Roof Service; so, I called on them and the owner Galen came over and inspected the roof; he explained what the issue was and how much it would cost to repair. The crew came over and did an excellent job at repairing the leak.
Recently, as I was getting ready to install Solar panels, I called on Power Roof Service again to inspect the rest of the house roof. They come over, inspected the roof, and found a lot of needed repairs like dry-rots, replacing old valleys, broken tiles, …. etc. Because the rainy season was upon us, they were pretty much booked up all the way through New Year’s; however, Galen the owner said he would fit me in, as they possible could; amazingly, they did fit me in and did repair everything before year’s end. They showed me photos before and after, which really helped me understand what a batten or a roof valley was!
In my opinion, among the best qualities of Power Roof are their excellent knowledge in tile roof repairs and their attention to detail. I tell you, It is hard these days to find honest contractors that do an A++ job.

Last week, Galen’s crew worked on my house skylight and they did a wonderful job cleaning up and repairing a 30 year-old installation. Tell you what, I was impressed to see Brandon dropping by and inspecting the job! I totally trust the work that Power Roof Services do!
