Let me open my comments here with the understanding that I normally never post about my experience with others. Today is an exception.At 78 I’ve experienced much in regards to sales people and their ways to get me to purchase things they were selling. It’s not to say all sales people are bad, but in most cases they will tell you what they think you want to hear.When I invited the Spartan rep to stop by the house I took my standard stance, watch and listen and see how hard he/she would push to get me to buy.The rep turned out to be Steve Follett, he was nicely dressed and presented himself with a demeanor that made me feel comfortable right off the bat.After Steve inspected my roof we sat down to discuss his findings. No pressure just a simply discuss. He laid out his product line as he covered what would be best for my roofs needs. What really got me was when he asked me what I thought and wanted from this project. He never said you have to have this or that, simply gave me the options for me to decide on. We had a great experience working with Forrest from Spartan Home Services on our roofing and solar project. From the very first appointment, Forrest was knowledgeable, transparent, and easy to work with. He walked us through all of the calculations in detail to make sure we had the right amount of solar and battery capacity so we could minimize what we pay to PG&E. He was also joined by his trusty colleague Luna (his dog), which definitely made that first visit more memorable.Timing was critical for us because several financial incentives were expiring at the end of 2025, and Spartan absolutely delivered. Their crew completed roof removal, roof replacement, and the full solar installation in just three days. The team was professional, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves every day—leaving minimal debris behind (and yes, it’s hard to catch every single staple).If you’re even thinking about roofing or solar, I highly recommend meeting with Forrest. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure the system is designed right the first time. We’re extremely happy with both the process and the results.
Dane, Robert, Joel, Jose, Jose and Carissa were amazing. From the initial visit for estimate by Dane all the way through the project the communication from Dane, Carissa and Robert was great. I appreciated even the text of we are just waiting for the rain to stop. Robert, Joel,Jose and Jose did a great job. They even left the property/yard cleaner than they started. Spartan Home Services installed my solar and battery backup system. This company is amazing and I could not have ask for anything more! Dayne walked me through the whole process, kept in touch with me continuously through each step and was extremely prompt with returning a phone call or text message. He really goes above and beyond to answer any and all questions or concerns! I was never left wondering “what happens next”. Spartan has several contacts throughout the installation process and every person I have spoke to was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in their specific area. Everyone really goes above and beyond to complete their task and also to make sure you are happy and left with all questions answered. For me, communication is key, and Spartan is amazing at it! My installation from start to finish only took a couple of months. As far as I am aware, there were no “hiccups” that prolonged the original estimation of completion. Everything has moved very smoothly and exactly on time as originally explained by Dayne. There were no surprises! I am very impressed with this company and everyone employed with Spartan!
