Very professional staff using excellent products to complete this project after the storm. Fought with the insurance company to protect my investment. Also did whole house siding replacement.
They don't handle my specific repair as with most general roofing companies in the area. However, Dan was very helpful and empathetic to my situation. After being blown off by about 10 other companies once they understood my predicament, Dan offered me the name of someone who can help me. If you're in the market for a new roof, do yourself a favor and contact Signature Exteriors for a quote. They use great products, communicate well, and deliver a quality product on time at a good price.I spent a lot of time researching hail resistant shingles and decided to use Owens Cornings Duration Flex shingles. This recommendation was based on asking what owners of construction and roofing companies would put on their own house. Owens Corning has a list of preferred vendors in the area and Signature Exteriors was high on that list.Signature Exteriors sent Dustin out to give an estimate, and I was pleasantly surprised with their price. Signature Exteriors quoted more work within the scope of their contract, better products, and a better lead time for a significantly better price than one of the big local roofing contractors.But a good price doesn't matter if the quality of the workmanship doesn't match. Signature Exteriors did a great time replacing both our roof and gutters. Their roofing crew finished our home on schedule in one day and the gutter crew was out shortly after. You'll know when because Dan in the office is great about reaching out and guiding homeowners through the process/answering any questions that come up.I always recommend getting at least three bids on home projects, and if you're in the St. Louis area, I would make sure Signature Exteriors is one of them.
Working with Signature Exteriors (Dan and Tyson were great!) was a fantastic experience! We were one of the unfortunate ones that got 8 inches of rain in 8 hours in the historic storm in July 2022. With that, we ended up with water coming through our kitchen ceiling and bathroom ceiling. Needless to say, we were panicking and calling roofing companies to come out ASAP to fix the issue. We received quotes from 6 different companies and Signature Exteriors was by far the most affordable and knowledgeable of the work we needed done. Not only did they have recommended solutions to fix the improperly installed roof-vents where it was leaking, but they also informed us that our attic venting was not working as it should. They were happy to walk around on my roof and talk through everything they saw was an issue, why it was recommended to fix, and offered alternative solutions based on our financial situation. We ended up removing the ridge vent, plugged unnecessary turtle vents, replaced compromised sheathing, and re-installed appropriate venting and 2 new turtle vents. The roof looks fantastic, venting is working better, the replacement shingles match perfectly, and we're currently leak-free!
