I used L&J roofing because of their good reviews and my wanting to support a local business to replace our roof after the gorilla hail storm. Responsiveness was ok but there isn't always someone there to answer during posted hours so prepare to play phone tag.We found a nice class 4 roof for our house and asked for a fairytale style roof. They said they could do it but would install the wrapped portion later as there were only enough shingles to order for the roof itself.Upon installation I was called saying there were some issues with the decking. I told them to do what needed to be done and send over any new estimates. They said they had what was needed at the shop.After installation the front of the roof was still visibly warped. When I paid I told them I would have liked to have the option to redeck my roof before installation. They stated it would have been 10k.We are paying thousands for upgrades as to improve the property and I would have happily paid the extra 10k to make sure the job was done correctly.On top of that, when I went in to pay, they said they couldn't do the fairytale style roof unless I picked another style shingle. It goes without saying we wanted a uniformed roof with matching shingles.I was told they would figure something out and get back with me ASAP.It has been a few months and I was never text or called back about finishing the job.If you want a quick simple job, I have no doubt they can do it.If you are wanting quality service and are willing to pay for it I would not recommend L&J roofing.
I have used L&J Roofing for many years on personal and business rentals. They have always done great work on every new roof job and on repairs done in past by other roofers. Highly recommend Luis and Joey and their crew.
I am so glad I came across Joey and his company! He came out and redid my entire roof and decking that was damaged back in 2020 from that bad hail storm. I had just bought the house, so it was hard to tell how bad the damage really was until they took off all the shingles. They really follow their slogan and "nail it right the first time". Joey is a nice guy and I highly recommend them to anyone that needs their roof replaced!
L&J roofing just roofed our house about two months ago. During the process, we had a miscommunication at no fault of Joey, the owner. Joey really stepped up to take care of us.
