Luis Mendoza Roofing

Luis Mendoza Roofing (LMR) put a new MCA “S” clay tile roof on our two-story house. Anthony had done other reroofs in our neighborhood and nearby. We had the solar panels removed, then LMR striped the roof down to the plywood (even replacing a few failed plywood sheets). Then he applied a peel and stick fireproof underlayment before installing the new tiles. His crew worked hard through some of the hottest summer days. Anthony supplied a porta-potty and some areas were covered for protection while work was being done. Anthony was onsite many times a day. He worked with my solar contractor to get the best installation. The roof passed both the OC sheathing and final inspections. I would recommend Luis Mendoza Roofing.

I highly recommend Luis Mendoza Roofing. They re-roofed my entire home as well as taking off and then reinstalling the solar panels. My experience started when I discovered a roof leak in my garage during a rain this year (2025). I called them because several neighbors had used them to re-roof their home and were very satisfied with the work. Luis Mendoza came out immediately, inspected the area and put a tarp to cover the area. Because this was the original, almost 40 year old roof, I felt it was wise to re-roof the entire home. Probably a third to half of the homes in my neighborhood had already done so. They are upfront with what needed to be done. The contract proposal covered all the details of material and labor costs. The price was fair. The work was started on time and completed on time. The workers were polite and cleaned up at the end of each day. Even though there was a lot of noise involved in re-roofing, my neighbors commented on how neat the workers were and how they seemed to enjoy their work. They chatted, sang, played music and laughed as they worked efficiently and neatly. This is a family owned company and they take pride in their work. I am more than satisfied with the end result. They also include a 7 year warranty for the roof to be leak free. This warranty can be passed on to any new owner of the home. Luis Mendoza Roofing did a great job. Very nice work. They took preventive measures to not damage anything around the house and put tarps down around the whole house to help catch nails and debris. Replaced all vents and made sure all was done correctly. Cleaned up around the house better than how it was when they started. Just a beautiful job and a great crew.
