I am very disappointed with this company. I called to have my roof checked out, I separated time specifically at their convenience for them to come see my home. They are about an hour away from my home and call me about an hour and a half prior to tell me that they are preparing to come down now, but that they cannot place a tarp on my slate shingle roof. They gave good reason, the tarp requires nails/screws to secure it and this could cause more leaks if they break during installation. I agreed and said it’s very understandable. I did say even still I would like an estimate to replace the whole roof over my home and if possible. I want to remove all the slate and replace it with traditional shingles. I did ask if they had any other options to patch up a small hole and I was told they would call back. I waited until quarter after the time they said they were going to arrive to call and verify that they were still coming. I left a message as they did not answer the phone. I then waited for one hour for them to show up or at least call me back and nothing. I felt like this was very unprofessional. I at least deserved a call stating that they wanted to cancel the appointment whether it be not worth their time and effort, they just didn’t have a product to fix the roof, or they didn’t want to take the job. This definitely left me with a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to trusting a company to do the bare minimum.
I am so grateful to Quality Roofing Express for all they have done for our roofs. This family owned and operated business gave me a fair price and were honest and helpful in getting the job done. They have other community connections that helped us get the job done the right way in a timely manner. They were friendly, professional and did a great job. I highly recommend them.
The quality roofing express team was fantastic. Not only did they beat out the competition on the quote, but they followed through with great detail and execution. The team was very nice and cleaned up very well. The company leadership is very engaging, keeping you informed throughout the entire process. They replaced a room on an old home for me (multiple layers of shingles) and completed the roof with great quality in just a couple days. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing work.
