Eric and his crew did an amazing job. The quote was fair, and they stand behind the work they do. My reroof was done in a timely manner and they left everything the way they found it( except for the roof of course hahaha). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
I really can't comment on their roofing but I can on their honesty. I learned about them and their company playing golf. Now if there are golfers reading my review, honesty is part of playing with good people. I played with the owner and his son. I loved to see the interaction and caring between the two. Frankly, I don't need a roof at this time but when I do, I will definitely ask this company for a quote. Thank you for a great game of golf and I will call you when I need a roof.
I contacted Alberta Rooftop in January a day after a large windstorm to replace some missing singles and correcting a dislodged chimney cap. Jim advised he would come by next week, but he never did which is understandable as the weather turned to a deep freeze. I contacted Jim end of February as everything began to thaw and he came by later that day to assess the damage, gave me a quote, and even took a broken shingle to order more and told me his son would come by next week to do the repair. No one came. Giving them the benefit of the doubt of being busy, I waited 4 additional weeks but no one came. I called Jim on Monday asking if they still planned to do the repairs, he apologized and told me someone would come by the end of the week. No one came. I called Jim and left a voicemail kindly asking if he could let me know if he had any intentions of coming out or not, because I can always hire someone else. He never called back. I have never dealt with such unprofessional services in my entire life. Jim knew I had a dislodged chimney cap and every time it rained or snowed, I was having moisture going into my chimney and potentially my furnace pipes. I don’t understand why he would string me along for over 6 weeks. If my roof was too high or steep or the job wasn’t big enough, at least be a decent human being and tell me so I can hire someone else, but instead, I just kept believing these broken reassurances. Horrible communication and terrible business practice. I do not recommend at all and will be sure to tell all my industry partners about this unprofessional experience.
Noticed a couple of loose tiles lying on my roof. Upon inspection found that two-three panels had been ripped -- probably from an earlier wind storm. Called Alberta Rooftop around noon hour. Talked to Jim (Owner) and outlined my concern(s) that my roof was open to the elements. Without hesitation he stated he'd be over later in the date to address the situation. True to his word he showed up a few hours later, completed the job, leaving this customer extremely happy -- and, I should note, no longer worried with the problem I had 'discovered' only a few hours early. All I can say is that this local company, especially Jim, is a local gem.
